There are not 60 teams in this country better than Louisville Trinity. Where is Cincinnati St Xavier ???? I guess we will find out after the Colerain game this week. Will be able to get a better feel for St.X after the Colerain game. However, I thought Brownsburg was Indiana's best team headed into last weekend and although St. X trailed early they ran away late in the game for an easy win. Will see St. X next weekend at Penn so will get a look at them then as well although Penn is down this year. Trinity trailed Warren Central most of the game last weekend and I still am not sold on Warren Central this year, in fact, really not sold on any Indiana team this season. GlenC7
Poll is decent overall I guess, but I will say this. I might be a bit biased being from Katy. But this Katy team is better than 16. Their defense might not be quite as good as their defense from 2015 but their offense is much more potent than the 2015 team. They have a really good confident QB who can make the throws, run if he needs to. Very good receivers and running backs. You should have them more in line with the comp poll. They are a lot closer to being the #7 team than the 16th. I've seen them play. They will be cruising through district play and when the playoffs start the only team that might beat them in the GHA would be a healthy NS team. Keep in mind that the Big 3 for NS are Davis, Evans and Banks. If one of those guys is not playing it hurts them. Banks did not play in the first game against Katy. TigerHat
Simple I-form LOL You do know that the spread formation is a playground formation - which pickup teams of players can play without any coaching don't you? It is simply a more pass oriented version of the ancient single wing I played in Jr. High in 1961, and it was 20 years obsolete even then. Very stupid offense that REQUIRES a stud multi skill athlete to play QB or it is truly mediocre.
