ThunderRam
Hey, while BG’s 115 game streak against in-State opponents is over, they’ve still got a streak against teams from Northern Nevada, right? Just like DLS and NorCal? They can still hang their hat on that! Lol. 😁 Monumental win for Liberty. Appears that their incredibly tough preseason scheduling paid off. Nevada is a very young and developing state. Most people just don’t understand the dynamics of my state. The population in Clark county was less than 50,000 people in the 1950 census. It now stands at 2.2 million. And we get an estimated 42 million visitors annually. By every measure that is incredible growth. Any person born in Las Vegas during the baby boomer or generation X periods has seen this area grow by leaps and bounds. Plus we were all lucky to see the greatest HSFB team of all time: the 2016 Gorman Gaels. 😋

FootballGuy
I was talking to a guy (a st frances fan) and he was telling me how Poggi was willing to pay their way into the geico games if they aren't invited. Where's Rashid?!!!!!! @GardenStateBaller

Geico already has several top teams in its sights. And SFA is not included. St. Louis still in the running?

Would they have like 3 week off between their Championship game the Geico?

ECHS05
Sucks for whoever wins GA 7A... Lowndes has to play Grayson then McE or NG, then Marietta... McE and NG have an even tougher road. Mariettas is a bit easier. And the GEICO games are a week after the GA State Championships.

But without SFA involved, there won’t be a team from an eligible state that would be within 2 touchdowns of the 7A champ. And most likely the game will be played in GA. STA, St Louis, Chandler, and Corner Canyon would be the options.

I feel like if Lowndes run through this gauntlet, they'll have a strong case for the MNC.....either from USAToday, Maxpreps, or one of these other outlets. Both Damonte Ranch and Desert Pines can beat Liberty. These are the two teams the Patriots are most likely to face in the upcoming weeks. The northern NV championship game between Damonte Ranch and Bishop Manogue was pushed back to this Monday because of a campus wide illness at DR high.
frankyjames
Bad beat for Servite. They were claiming the BG loss as a "win for them." Down the rankings they go! No wonder @Sammyswordsman has been all over this thread.
