Really? Prove it by cutting and pasting from some rag lib website.

No, I'll just do the math instead.

On April 24th, there were 22,491 cases in Georgia. Yesterday, there were 35,977.

That's a 60% increase in the last three weeks.

If you understood language then would know why his statement was dumb.

Professor Fukwit:

Cumulative historical numbers don't decrease. But of course you take this idiotic assumption that this was his point because you are a total dick.

New cases and deaths have been decreasing in Georgia. This is the point relevant to the opening up of a state.

The peak for new cases for Georgia was 22 April at 769 (7-day moving average).

The latest number dated 15 May is at 258 new cases (again, 7-day moving average). The actual preliminary new cases reported that date was just 23.

Here is an article by The New York Birdcage Liner.  You'll find Georgia under the section "Where new cases are decreasing".

Oh, look, Andy!  Johns Hopkins says Georgia down 12%... 🤡

Which is why I said this.

Yes, I'm a dick to dumb people who make obviously dumb claims.

Which is why you get so flustered when your own statements come back to bite you.

What's more is that even thc6795's insinuation using his dumb claim is wrong.

He's saying that, well, if reopening will cause more cases then why is the rate of growth of new cases down 12% in Georgia?!

But that's easily rebutted by that very same graph above.

New York's rate of growth is down 33% and they didn't reopen.

As he never said "cumulative", obviously the stupidity is yours.

Not even a remotely respectable attempt.

He said:

The virus has not dropped by 12%

concha gets more pathetic by the day.

Per John Hopkins, COVID-19 (which is virtually always discussed in numbers of cases or deaths) is down 12%.

Your attempt at being a grammar nazi is laughable but par for the course.

thc6795 is (1) dumb and (2) trying to mislead people.

He only does those two things every single day but here's concha to defend the indefensible as usual.

His point is obviously that the claim is not necessarily so.

You know this very well but you are just inexorably drawn to being a total tool.

New York had huge growth rates for weeks and weeks while remaining "closed".

Your intellectual dishonesty is pure comedy gold.

But that wasn't his point as he likely didn't even know this and even more likely would've claimed that the virus was fake news.

You see I actually know what people have posted before and am accurate in my claims.

You, however, are a toady.

The only thing indefensible here is your stupid responses.

The virus IS down in Georgia as per the usual measure of new cases.

Your assumption was that opening a state would have to lead to the opposite result but your only choice was to try to use a bullshit measure and hope nobody noticed.

Well, ooops.

Of course.

But I don't want to take up too much of your toady time this morning.

Please continue lying, contradicting yourself and carrying water for criminals.

I believe you tried accusing me of a lie yesterday that was no such thing.

That's your MO.

You twist of just make something up to manufacture the accusation of a lie.

It's obvious and bush league. And not surprising at all.
