Except of course if it's about something that they don't like. Then even definitive conclusions and/or convictions in court won't suffice (see Mueller Report). Merely having a Benghazi investigation was vindication even if no wrongdoing was found. Merely having hearings about the fake IRS scandal was enough to prove they were right even if, again, no wrongdoing whatsoever had actually occurred. And now Dr. Fauci merely saying there should be further investigation is sufficient even though no evidence actually exists, currently, to support their claims.
