@World Citizen the immigration part is more about the crime from the bad immigrants and poverty is from the good immigrants in terms of keeping Americans in poverty. Bringing in low to medium skilled people by the thousands only takes away job opportunities from poor and fringe poor Americans. Our lower and middle class shouldn’t have to compete with imported immigrants. That’s where the poverty aspect comes from.

There have been many studies on the economic effects of immigrants.  In some areas there is a cost and in others it is a benefit.  Property taxes, rent, local city and state taxes would be a benefit economically.  IMO, since this is the richest nation on the planet, the cause of the shrinking middle and lower class is because of all the money being given to the very wealthy.  Tax breaks to the rich doesn't help any poor person but that doesn't get mentioned when poverty gets brought up.  Amazing how even poor people will defend the give away to the rich as if they get anything out of it.  They will tell you you do but you don't.  It's just another way to create division and keep the masses looking at the shiny object while they continue to reach in our pocket book.  

IMO, we ALL are being fooled and the ones doing it are not poor immigrants or BLM or Antifa.  There is nothing we can't do.  Nothing.  All that we need is the will to do it and that isn't happening while we point fingers and accuse others of hating or wanting to ruin this country.  Holding on to fear and hate will only bring negativity and it can do nothing else.  What do you think the flip side of that is?

Btw, there are many things that Democrats support that I"m sure you support as well.  And guess what?  They are socialist in nature.
