The truly bright people I have known over the course of my life have tended to be humble, or at the very least quiet and deliberative. No doubt some of them were socially inept. But not so others. What all of them had was an awareness of their own shortcomings despite being firmly in the top 1% of society were raw intelligence was concerned. And, my post was not intended to spin anything.
