MP Top 10 HSFB games in 2021

Recommended Posts

Unless they move the game to a larger venue AHP, FL and Edna Karr (NOLA) will war at Behrman Stadium in Behrman Park located in Algiers......affectionately known as the "jungle".

Behrman Stadium has a capacity of exactly 5.000. When Edna Karr plays big games there will be standing room only 3-4 deep. It's a madhouse. Behrman Stadium was built in the 1930's and lots of NFL Greats got their start there. Too many to list really.

AHP HC Patrick Surtain probably wants to coach on the same field he played on anyways. I can get with that.

Behrman Stadium (they did recently put some new turf down, but it's as basic as basic can be)

"Behrman stadium opened in 1938 and is the second-oldest prep facility in New Orleans behind City Park's Tad Gormley Stadium, which was built in 1937. It is named for former five-term New Orleans Mayor Martin Behrman and was built by the Works Progress Administration. The stadium is operated by the New Orleans Recreation Department (NORD) with a neighborhood-based booster club supporting the facility"

Edna Karr just built a brand new high school they moved into last year.....located on the Mississippi River. If you swim across that river you are in downtown New Orleans.....or you can take the bridge..

Will look nice when they finish the landscaping and etc.......added a new football field too.

Some Edna Karr chatter has the AHP/Karr game on ESPN, but that is NOT confirmed. They probably want it to be.

I guess, if true, there's a storyline there for ESPN and a ton of talent to talk about too.

The ESPN Old Spice schedule should be breaking soon. Some of it anyways.

SFA is 30% of that T10 list! I'd say they def have the toughest HSFB schedule in 2021.

There are two teams that are 30% of that T10 list. Debatable that SFA has a tougher schedule than MD when you consider the 4 games in the Southern Section playoffs plus a potential state championship game. And they open the season against Cen10.

SFA plays the following elite teams: STA, GC, SJR, DLS, AHP and IMG. And four of those games are AWAY. Like get on an airplane AWAY.

A reminder that Cen10 lost to MD and SJB by a combined 68 points the last time out. No comparison.
