Old Rabid One
I can think of a few! Heisman Trophy recipient Charlie Ward never PLAYED pro football! But was a long time NBA player! Great high school passer, Ray Goff, went to UGA, only to win the SEC Offensive Player of the Year, as a RUNNING QB! Packers All American running QB Jack Montgomery, went to Georgia, and played DB! All American high school QB and UGA running QB Andy Johnson, went on to be a star RB for the Boston Patriots! Anquan Bolding was a great prep QB, but went on to college and pros to play another position.

Frosty4024
Arnaz Battle. Best option QB Byrd ever had. Played a bit of QB at Notre Dame. Ended up as a WR in the Pros.

Slotback Right
Randy Vataha starred at Rancho Alamitos HS (Garden Grove, CA) as the starting QB of the League Champion Vaqueros. He made the switch to WR at Stanford where he was one of QB Jim Plunkett's favorite targets, and then spent 6 more years snagging Plunkett's passes on the New England Patriots. Hs averaged 253 yards per season over his 8 year career. Nice guy, but no star.
hardhit1
I once watched a kid who committed to play QB at USC as a 7th grader only to play the Texas gauntlet while playing HS for ECA and then play ED later that year. A couple years later while I’m in Morgantown he is playing WR for WVU. walks onto the NFL with the Bills and gets cut but spends 2 years with Giants on IR😩 David Sills
