We take pride in defense compared to your state. 2. Sure, y'all are better on offense, so we may be lacking in that department compared to y'all. 3. You know what I'm bout to say...... cali has gone 0-2 against georgia teams. So, a state that seems to be lacking sure has done a good job against the golden state. Georgians always try to compare themselves to their betters 3. Georgians take great pride in their top teams beating a couple of CA also-rans in GA -- makes one imagine thirst games have their own display at the GA athletic hall of fame trailer

The only thing that happened was both teams lost vs 1 team, and both won vs the other. Colquitts D beat VM into the ground... VM actually managed a TD vs MV. But Colquitts D is the difference there. You can take what you like from those games I suppose.

DLS has been taught that lesson over and over OOS. And now that CA is 2-14 vs BG... they are puffing their chests out. You still have a 12.5 winning percentage vs BG... know your place. Crenshaw finished 12-2 and VM finished 9-3. Are you sure u wanna consider them to be "CA also-rans" ? And no need to go into the first two points you tried to make. Yeah, between CA and Ga guys both thinking they're better than they are, the other 48 states have voted CA has significantly more cause try comparing GA to NorCal -- it is a closer comparison

You beach boys won the participation trophy in that thread. Add in the false bravado from the posters, the mythical strength of your teams, and the inability to back it all up... Well, you get black eyes. 😉 Stay tuned though, DLS will get beat up by Gorman soon. How many times are we going to hear this from the GA boys...."well, you just wait 'till so and so beats (insert Ca team)". ECH is rubbing off on you. Too funny. Yes crenshaw plays in LAS, CA's 7th best section, they finished fringe top 25 vM hasn't finished 9-3 -- they're about to start 0-4 -- keep crowing, its amusingit's amusing

Sadly, that's halfway true. But here's the caveat, CA typically doesn't take on other state's patsies. You can't argue wit that. When we roll, we're rolling for big fish...and you're going to lose some when ya do that. We don't fly out to Florida to play the Cypress Bay, we play STA and Lakeland(when they were good). If we just loaded up on OOS 2nd tier or neighboring state teams, CA's record would be better. East/south teams do that all day.

East/south teams do that all day. In reality, you all play quality opponents at nearly the same rate as the teams you speak of in this neck of the woods. You guys just choose to overlook that. Saying California takes "some" losses in these games is an understatement to the extreme. And like the teams around here, you play the large majority of the games against a select few regional opponents. Speaking of Tier 2 teams (or below), does Le Cordon Bleu BFE, Loyola, BC, SPP, Mountain Pointe, Chandler, East UT, American Fork, inept Hawaii teams, and the like ring a bell? Speaking in half truths and mythological propaganda seems to be the norm over yonder. Hell, it took Mater Dei 100 years and a semi load of recruits to finally challenge anyone OOS. De La Salle only joins the frey when they believe they have the better team (often times they are wrong). SJB and Cen10 have the balls most years, I will give them that. That's better than everyone else during the last 5+ years. So what's your point. Wait, what are we arguing again? Oh yeah, Ga plays good defense (against weak Ga offense) and Ca plays good offense (against weak Ca defense). But when these respective States venture oos these things become apparent facts. Is that the argument? With all the recruiting going on at these big programs (excluding DLS of course) How anyone can say this region is this or that when very few players are homegrown and Instead come from somewhere else. Question to all. What would the hsfb landscape look like if schools could not recruit? Just normal moves that families make and no switching schools for "athletic" reasons. These kids go to college wether they transfer or not. They go to college wether the school they play for sucks or not. D1 prospects were always getting free ride to college and not just because they went to IMG, STA or SJB and MD. 1
