NO, they'll let 5,000 stand in the end zone, at $22.00 a pop! The same thing will happen in Warner Robins, where the Wartown Classic draws 15,000 for a stadium with 8,000 seats! ECHS05
North Gwinnett vs Colquitt Co. will be televised on GPB next Friday... Unfortunately we wont get to see 5A, Rome @ Warner Robins though... It will be available on nfhs Im sure... https://mobile.twitter.com/GPBsports/status/940279547324436481/photo/1 https://mobile.twitter.com/GPBsports/status/940279547324436481?ref_src=twsrc^google|twcamp^serp|twgr^tweet
ATLien12x
let’s get one thing very clear: GPB picked the North Gwinnett game because it’s the high class game, because it’s the closest to GPB (lolol no one cares about 4A) and more importantly it’ll keep folks at home. This will help the overflow crowd. Game on tv beats $20 tickets and insane parking every single time. Itll be packed. It’s a state title game. But I do think w/ additional bleachers they’ll make it work. The other games are on NFHSNetwork as I’ve already checked and added them to my “Watch Later” archives. I’m gonna go to the 7A game because it’s near my house and I want to see the Pack #reclaim their title. Bulldog tears are the best tears. Doubt Ill go to Suwanee Parking is god awful at N Gwinnett w/ this flow of traffic. Remember how I always bitch about Grayson’s? Think much smaller. Lol. Get your cash ready to be on somwone’s Lawn for a reasonable price. Also, I’m buying my ticket tomorrow and getting there super early. Sitting on N Gwinnett side because that low rise bleachers they bring in on Colquitt’s side will limit vision/ the View. Think Colquitt - S Forsyth in 2015 but way more people. Packer fans know about that mess. BUT AT LEAST THEY HAD BATHROOMS AND AWFUL CONCESSIONS NEARBY FOR VISITORS AT S FORSYTH

A TOTAL clusterfuck for Rome and ESPECIALLY Colquitt! But I'll bet that REGION foes Clinch/Irwin, and Lee/Coffee, are doing BACK FLIPS at not having to trek 200 plus miles NORTH?! Yes but because of the postponement, Colquitt has to travel against the higher seed, #1 North Gwinnett. Like my man Hawg said- those all white uniforms look fresh. I like it. HawgGoneIt
My only issue at all is that if the numbers I hear are correct, they sold more tickets than that stadium has seats. Period. How do you make the decision to move to a venue that doesn't have seat count to match asses you sold tickets to and then have to bring in p.o.s. temporary stands? And that's not even the worse decision they made this past week imo, but it's pretty bad none-the-less. T.V. and all other bull aside. There is some bonehead thing every single year with the GHSA.
