Anyway, congrats to North Gwinnett. They hung in there and executed their offense at the end and caught our boys slipping.

As far as Colquitt goes... Had the game in the bag with seconds left in the game. In the state championship game in the big boy league in Georgia. In a rebuilding year.

In a rebuilding year. When we weren't even ever supposed to be here.

No shame in that at all. Too bad they let it slip away.

Hopefully that gives them hunger for the next three years.

Wow. Colquitt deserved state title. 10+ penalties thrown on Colquitt lololol good grief that last series. Oh well man. Life isn’t fair - tough lesson to swallow. Packers played their ass off this year and were so much to follow

Congrats to North for winning their first state title. The snow last week was the MVP for them

North Gwinnett is a young team... They should be just as good or better next year. They do lose #8 Jayden McDonald, who was a stud last night... But they have plenty of guys to make up for him.

Colquitt brings back 8 on O themselves... Losing QB Krajewski, WR Singletary, & an OL. But they get both of the RBs back.

Didnt see what they bring back on D... Think it was 4 or 5.

Another exception is in OH. Trotwood over Pick Central!!

Trotwood had a good early season win over Pickerington Central.  Trotwood would have had a very tough time navigating the D1 playoffs in Ohio in any region.  There were no easy regions and they could have been sent home early in any one and I'll make it real clear for you in this next sentence.

A bad start against a good D3 team in Ohio will allow you to recover and come back where as a bad start against a good D1 team in Ohio is getting your shit pushed in and you aren't coming back.

It happened in D2 where Winton Woods was able to rebound from being down 21-0 against a solid Massilon team and score 56 straight.  Next week against a top 5 in Ohio Akron Hoban, Winton Woods got down 21 to 0 and the final score was 42 to 14.  Akron Hoban didn't let up.

All because they are lower class.

NOBODY in 7A would even get close to beating Buford 45-7.

Roswell(yes, a 7A school) last year was as good, and probably better than any team we have this year in GA, and they only beat a worse Buford team 24-7 last year.

Rome only handed them their worst loss in 44 years

I've seen Buford.  They are not good.  I've seen way better Buford teams.  If you believe what you say about 7A, GA squads then that says a lot about how weak 7A in Georgia really is.

Truth.

People riding Buford's pristine record over the years because it benefits their agenda.

I've just watched the highlights from Rome vs Buford.  There can't possibly be any chance that Rome is the best team in Georgia.

Their Defensive line is one of the best anywhere.

#1 or #2 Id day... They are #2 in OH at CP xD

Which HLs you watch? This one seems to be most of the 1st half condensed into 15 mins... Think the score was 17-7 at half. They put 28 more on the board after half.
