WTF this should never happen.

Perhaps most surprising about the loss was the sheer ease with which Mexico pulled it off. Team USA had never fallen in a U-19 tournament game before … ever.”

But ya lost to Canada tho 😔

Anyways...wonder how many of Mexico's players were Prepa Tech players?

Haha.  True dat. i am going to check out Prepa Tech next time I head down there.  Always wanted to check it out.  I would be willing to bet they have some.  Football is really big in Mexico.  Basketball, baseball and football are all huge down there.  Not as big as futbol, but the younger generations are quickly changing that.  Futbol could be behind football by the time I am deuces from this world.

If you took IMG or a team like that and you played any all star team in the history of Mexico they would beat them by 70 plus.

You can find 20 kids from a blind school in the states and call them a USA team.

If you want to look at real results, check out how Prepa Tech, Monterey Tech and Autonoma Nuevo León do in Texas every year

Why?

Because it helps grow the sport of course.  Soccer is the most popular sport in the world.  Basketball, baseball, Track and Field, hockey, lacrosse, and even rugby are all either currently global or becoming more and more globally accepted by the day.  It increases player pool which in turn increases the number of quality players, which increases the quality of the sport.  Now football, hockey, and to some extent lacrosse are too expensive to play properly to ever go fully global.  Not everyplace has the weather for hockey.  So there are significant barriers, but in certain regions it would be beneficial to the game of football to increase their footprint.
