I had wondered about their non-league schedule where they didn't really play any high-ranked programs.  It may be time to acknowledge that maybe they aren't as good as many thought.

Tough to really develop if you don't regularly play challenging competition, right @AztecPadre?  😉

Right on brother.  Why do you think Carmel scheduled Salas?

It was 21-21 12 secs before half when SJB ran the kick back for a TD

OLU 21 - Cen10 10 Half (28-45 Final)
OLU 21 - SJB 28 Half (28-63 Final)
OLU 21 - MV 17 Half (35-37 Final)

OLU seems to be a pretty strong first half team, but then they get killed in the 2nd half. That's usually an indicator of having talent but having some other issue (coaches unable to make adjustments, lack of conditioning, etc.).

MD 35 - Servite 0

The score tells much of the story, but not all.

For example, my alma mater "only beat" someone 40-3 tonight.  Upon closer inspection, when they pulled the starters in the 3rd qtr, they had about 550 yards of total offense, while their opponent had less than 50.

Possibly, I don't think their depth compares negatively with Cen10 or MV. Definitely the case with SJB.

Biggest difference between the teams in game vs Cen10 was that a few key defensive personnel for OLU played both sides of the ball.  That speaks to depth.  Even a well conditioned athlete is going to wilt some in the second half against fresher formidable talent.

Mater Dei 52- DLS 21

And/or........................

we understand

DLS wins 6 of 7 Opens

AVg MOV was 23+

could have been 100 if DLS wasn’t so full of JV call ups  to plug in so that servite could get a first down after it was 42-0

DLS loses once to IMG-West and bang/ presto, instant socal superiority complex

Paleeasse.. Canyon Country put a spanking on y’all. DLS is without a doubt respectable but also overrated. Pops, tell them boys up there to enjoy beating those NoCal cupcakes because a beat down is waiting for them from a SoCal team!

Thanks for graciously acknowledging the team that’s won 7 of the 11 state championships since that Canyon game as respectable

DLS is probably headed to a beatdown because of Mater Dei

MV doesn’t understand the competitive difference of the Open (DLS 12 straight appearances) than D1 game (MV one appearance, 2 championships behind Folsom)

So you’ve won 7 of 12.

Y’all aight!!
