I do want to say that I am a North Gwinnett fan, which contributes to bias, but as a member of NGHS's marching band and having been to every single game for the past 3 years, I can give others a good perspective of NG's true talent. However, it is clear that you put effort into the work you did and I commend you for it. And while you had NG going to the semis, you did not have them winning it, losing to the eventual state champ. I've been a football fan my entire life and my interest in high school football began when North Gwinnett won its first state championship in 2017. Since then, I've tried to remain honest to myself, mostly because I want to give accurate information to my fellow marching band members. I've figured that there's no point telling my friends that "oh, we're gonna beat this top-rated team by 50" because that only reduces my credibility. Especially since '17. He seems like a decent young man, though. And he did invest a lot of time in analyzing 7A. And yes, I am an honor roll student who has taken quite a bit of AP classes. That 2017 state championship game was what got me into high school football, so I guess I have Colquitt to thank for this. ngdawg Posted June 17, 2020 Author Report Share Posted June 17, 2020 I'm glad that you came all the way from Moultrie to watch that game (I assume). I'm so lucky to have gotten a great view of the game-winning kick, as the band stands are at the opposite endzone, not a part of the home stands.
