When confronted with the obvious stupidity of your statement this is all you can come up with.

Right, the fan boy of Saint Thomas questions the quarterback that has been to 10 Super Bowls and won 7.

It’s just a big coincidence I guess. 😅😂🤡

You’ve supported the dumbest argument ever. Brady’s record and records speak for itself.

Doug Williams had a 49% completion percentage during that playoff run. A total passenger.

Who cares?

Doug Williams beat this guy in the Super Bowl badly.

Ever heard of John Elway.

Elway went 14/38 230 Yards 1 TD 3 INT in the that game. Instead of dumping on Doug Williams, dump on John Elway.

John Elway as a player:

Under Joe Gibbs the Redskins won 3 Super Bowls with 3 different quarterbacks.

Nah, Williams was much more than a passenger. Denver had all the momentum in the Super Bowl, forcing the Redskins to punt on every possession in the 1st Quarter. No team had come back from a 10 point deficit in the Super Bowl, and then the 2nd Quarter happened.

Williams was almost perfect, completing 9 of 11 passes for over 200 yards and 4 touchdowns. They scored 35 straight points and had over 350 yeards of offense, all in the 2nd Quarter. Williams won the MVP award, after having answered thousands of times leading up to the game what it was like to be "the first black QB to start a Super Bowl." He had lots on his shoulders, and on that stage stepped up and played exceedingly well.

They don't win with Jay Schroeder......

They went 5-2 in games where Schroeder played the majority of the snaps and 3-2 when Williams did.

They also went 3-0 with the replacement players.

The previous year Schroeder went to the Pro Bowl. The next season they traded him and went with Doug Williams.......and finished 7-9.

No way they would've won with Jay Schroeder!

That Denver team in particular , was extremely weak . All those early 3 SB loss Elway teams  were garbage compared to the NFC .  Blaming Elway is like blaming Payton Manning for the blowout the broncos had with the " Legion of Boom "  Seahawks . Those Bronco teams really had no chance against those type of teams .

I remember watching the Redskins game at a party with a bunch of friends. Through the laughter all we kept saying was could there be a worse display of safety play at any level of football than Tony Lilly that day.

Doug Williams was the superior QB on that day which was the only day that mattered.

"Coming into Super Bowl XXII, the Broncos were favored to win (−3 as noted on the NFL Today show by Jimmy "the Greek" Snyder) because most experts thought both teams were equal in terms of talent with Elway presumed to be the superior quarterback to Williams."

and those snaps resulted in one the greatest Super Bowl performances in NFL history.

What's your point?

That two of the greatest flukes in Super Bowl history occurred in that game (Doug Williams and Timmy Smith) and yet people refuse to acknowledge that the offensive line and defense carried the team.

All in service of the QB hero myth and good ole homerism.

Broncos were also favored with P. Manning . I couldn't believe that when it happened. I could see that loss coming to Seattle miles away . Niners and Hawks were head and shoulders above the rest that season .

Pretty much. Elway carried them to those AFC championships.

Denver opponents set a number of SB records in all these games where Elway fell short. Capped off by the still most lopsided margin of victory ever in a Super Bowl.

NFC bastards.

Giants 39, Broncos 20

Redskins 42, Broncos 10

49ers 55, Broncos 10
