Always entertaining to see the same actor portrayed in multiple roles during the same series.

Barney Miller and Law and Order come to mind right away.

Sopranos had a bakery scene when Christopher felt disrespected by the guy serving at the counter.  Pre-Vito actor was in the scene.  He wasn’t connected, just hungry.  :)

A lot of those actors on Law and Order who played different roles also had roles on The Wire. Many of the main characters on the Wire as well.  Rawls, The Greek, Omar, Bunk just to name a few

Dang, now that’s research.

I just had a flashback of Paul Sorvino as an early Law and Order series detective.  He did OK in Good Fellas too on the opposite side of the aisle.  :)

What an actor he was, learn the role and master it.  Just the facial looks he gave in both roles, solid.

Christopher Walken still acting?  Not sure why I thought of him, not listening to BOC.  🐮 🛎️ 😆

@OldTerrapin this freaked me out last night!

I knew nothing about this actor beyond a Criminal Minds episode that he starred in as a serial killer.  I heard of the show he left after a few seasons, but never watched it.

Last night, I watched a program called Death by Fame and was floored…

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Lewis

Fiction to reality… that Criminal Minds episode was a good one.

Johnny Lewis was one messed up dude.   Hits an off duty cop in the back of the head and chooses a year in jail over 2 years of rest in a comfortable don’t worry be happy safe place.  This guy wanted stress and there were no drugs in his system on his final day of murder and falling (likely suicide, being tired of the demons and/or having a reality check moment and facing sure imprisonment for life).  He killed an older woman and her cat.  What a POS.
