Congrats to Bishop Gorman and appreciate all the fans, brotherhood and good old fashion grit. MNC is made up. It’s mythical. I believe that should mean it’s undeniable and no team who loses 28-0 fits that bill. So, challenge OOS, be perfect or make sure your stablemate you beat in repeat was. I don’t think MD counts this as a Natty but respect the top 3 as they are. 2024 bitches!

Adam_MD_Alum
Something haywire happened with Massey (like, I can understand a late season bump in TX SOS ranking, but week 16 was CRAZY ~ summercreek was a step down for sure, but suppose DV winning helped. There’s just no way you can argue any Texas team had a stronger SOS than MD/BG/MC and won a state championship. I suspect either broke or the algo was adjusted. I’m honestly glad tho. I say, if you’re gonna split the Natty, why not and clearly Desoto had the best Texas resume. 1

From 2013 to 2023 only one team outside of Cali has finished a season with the highest CP rating. That should be added as a footnote to the Calpreps ratings system. And as a reason to discredit their “national” rankings. Thank you and happy holidays!

If you are questioning a reasoning for the Massey S.O.S. result; you may want to look into the transitive path system within the Massey site, for starters. Next, look at it from a statistical perspective to remove biases. Remove names from the teams; We have the 5 teams you mentioned. (Team A.) (Team B.) (Team C.) (Team D.) (Team E.) These are their opponents rankings and scores:
