DLS is washed now. Got beat comfortably by a mission Viejo team that could not even win their league. NS would benefit nothing from that game now. No, I’m not saying they should only play Mater Dei, Bosco, or Cen10. Serra, Sierra canyon, or even Lincoln would be a better game for NS. 

It wasn’t NS scheduling, but Desoto for this year. It was an ESPN deal of some sort. I think it has fallen off now

GardenStateBlaher from the other board said something about Mathis mentioning De La Salle’s interest in playing DeSoto on ESPN in a preseason game for 2024.

According to him as well, Mathis apparently said if that doesn’t work, find him the best team he can send their way.

34-52-3 vs 5A Glynn academy all time 

7-4 vs 6A Richmond Hills  all time 

18-24-1 vs 5A Brunswick 

31-29 vs 2A Appling County 

20-11-3 vs 1A Pierce County 

0-3 vs 4A Warner Robins

17-19-1 vs 4A Ware County 

2-1 vs 4A Perry 

6-0 vs 4A New Hempstead

Im not gonna lie to ya the GHSA fucked these regions all the way up because of their reluctance to put some teams where they belong... 

The coastal counties really got screwed this realignment... 

Fucking Region 2-4A Is: 

Perry 

Warner Robins 

Wayne County 

Benedictine 

Ware County 

New Hempstead 

Dead ass Ware County/Waycross is closer to Jacksonville Beach,FL than the fucking Macon Metro area... 

The GHSA is botching these regions horribly... 

Perry and Warner Robins are neighboring communities almost inseparable from each other outside of a city limits sign and are apart of the Macon-Warner Robins Metro.... 

Benedictine and New Hempstead are IN Savannah... 

Wayne Count is Metro Savannah 

The travel times gonna be something fierce...

Gotcha. Well, my take still stays the same. Desoto is too much for De La now. May look good on paper to beat a power of the past but DS is in much better shape as a program than DLS is right now. DLS is probably a top 20ish team in the state next year. Serra San Mateo has flown by them up there.
