2018 Teams to Watch

Looking for submissions from various parts of the country on their top teams for 2018.  Based on returning starters, and 2017 record.  Since this is a National forum, Only D-1 teams need apply.  In other words if your team did not participate in your state's top division playoff bracket, then please keep your comments on your local board.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Florida doesn't use a open classification

This is discrimination against the most talent rich state in the nation

We are taking you to court

Dear Member,

Thank you for bringing our attention to said matter.  Since Florida is historically a power area, The subcommittee on team previews will accept nominations from all Florida entries.

I'd like to nominate my 2018 Monarchs.  We will have a fine group of young men coming back, especially at the offensive skill positions and defensive secondary.  We will also have our best D-lineman Mase Funa returning.  The guys at the register said we will be ranked #1 in the County, and somewhere in the Top 3 in the State

indications are that SJB will be ranked #1 in the State going into 2018.  They will be loaded at the skill positions and their QB could be State POY.  Plus you can expect some key transfers from the long Beach area.

Also, OLU has the QB Hilinski returning.  I would put them as a Top 3 Trinity League team, which by default would be Top 10 in the State.

North Gwinnett returns quite a few.

Colquitt Co..

Grayson

Archer

I imagine those will be GAs top 4.

McEacherns back on the upswing...

North Gwinnett returns 7/11 on offense, and 6/11 on defense ... Their #1 QB from this year, missed the entire season after an injury in the 1st game... Hes a North Carolina commit... The back-up led the team to a state title....they lost both of them, Im not 100% sure whos going to replace him...

Colquitt returns 8/11 on offense, and 4/11 on defense... They lose their QB, #1 WR, and an OL on O... The D loses a good bit but its always good so it'll be fine.

It looks like Marietta returns 10 of 11 on defense... Looks like they return 9 or 10 on offense too... Gonna be nasty... Oh and they add a 4* OT , Jake Wray from TN.

LT and Allen return quite a bit:  LT returns 6 on O and about the same on D.  Allen returns 8 on D and 5 on O.  Allen platoons a lot so these are starters and key contributors.  Longview, north shore, ET and SLC also return more starters than usual, key skill players and went a few rds deep into the POs.
