In my opinion, their offensive system gives them an advantage early in the season compared to many of other schemes. Fair take. There are definitely some schemes out there that, like the veer, take time to perfect. That said, your statement leads me to believe that you don’t quite understand the veer and the level of execution that’s expected of the kids at DLS. There’s a different level of execution between DLS’s veer and say...Jesuit’s.

My neighbor is a Bellevue grad and He knows I'm a DLS fan and doesn't hesitate to remind me of that day. Anyway good call. ET was frustrating, esp the tackling. Yes. That was a very frustrating game to watch.

That being said the DLS 2010 team was a symphony on offense in the SBG. Absolute perfection I mean , Canes is right in a sense. But I don’t look at the outcomes as much as how they’re playing. And only the team really knows if they’re executing better. They could beat Foothill 42-7 and still be not executing well.

Despite what your biases, a passing offense that requires perfect timing, motions, and complex blocking schemes is going to take more game time to perfect than the veer offense regardless of the team running in it. This idea that DLS would not lose later in the year bc of hyper improvement was invited by DLS fans and Californians to explain them losing to the better team. Many teams have the same issue early. It's part of football. Most everyone is going to get better throughout the year.

All of the top programs around the country demand "perfection" in their execution. This isn't some original thought from DLS. What's undeniable is DLS losing early and then going back and crushing a bunch of baby seals in NorCal. Listen to yourselves...a bunch of damn excuse makers!
