Louisiana's 2A 100 meters state champ would have won the Texas 6A 100 meters state championship last year.

You just can't make this stuff up or make it go away.

Thomas Jefferson is a small 2A School in NOLA.

Perspective?

There are 250! 6A high schools in Texas.

and a 10.45 100 meters is the best they can do in that class at their state championship. 😧

I don't think anyone has to tell me Louisiana is a fast state, that's a given.

Louisiana has a population of 4.6 million people, that's a given.

The rest is just a bunch of big state gibberish.

What I said stands and you can spin it however you want to spin it.

And for the record my baseball thread is much more advanced than anything you will ever see in this thread.

Do you have any idea what the conditions were in that race?   +/- m/s  vs what race you are touting from LA can make a huge difference.

Look back at the all time post I shared last night.  #realitycheck

Yep! This is his only way to post his LA  stuff.  No one reads it much in its own thread so he junks it up over here, piggybacking off of TX posts. Pathetic. Hes definitely unwelcome

Again a dumbass the fastest kid in TX was a 2A kid from Refugio.  Running in the 10.2s.  🤣 Wonder how he would do in that sorry ass state?  The next fastest kid from 4A ran a 10.28.  Texas depth.  Comparing La to Texas is insanity.  Anyone can have a kid faster than the fastest Texas kid.  He's usually an outlier or a Ga. Ca or Fl kid. The real fast States.  Holy Cross got that Holy ass destroyed in Texas.

100 2A Boys

1. Ernest Campbell, Refugio, jr. — 10.22

2. Bobby Drake, Bremond, sr. — 10.52

Reading Dyestst.com and getting a hard on?

Maybe you're right for once.

......10.45 is the best Texas 6A could do last year, bubba bro.

Let it sink in and live with it.

Texas 6A is a "state".

Freaking embarrassing really.

I wonder if Campbell has been hurt because his time so far is off his PR from last year. But correct, he was the fastest kid in Texas last year and only in 2A

Then you wouldn't see La. Getting any attention.  That dumbass is even addressing himself in this thread.  No one reads his La. He's an idiot.  Those La kids ran with a +3.6ms 100m and he only ran 10.44 at State.  The Texas 6A kids ran into - 0.7 ms. The 6A kid ran a 10.45 and that nut is trying to prove a point.  The point is he's a dumbass.  You tried to give him an out.  Now add  +4.3ms to the Texas 6A.  it damn sure wouldn't be a 10.45.  That would offset the wind advantage between the two.

Makes sense and I just assumed vs looking.   I should have mentioned wet conditions as a possible deterrent also (no clue of conditions) but the wind gauges you shared speak for themselves… well they do for track followers, as that’s an extreme wind variance diff between races.

Red has no clue about all that rubbish, just look at the times!

To put this into Red’s intense baseball mastermind thread, it would be the equivalent of batting with a strong wind going out vs a wind coming at the batter.

Which setup would yield to better hitting and pitching stats?

Bingo

Another example, a punter kicking into a headwind vs one kicking into a strong tailwind… any guess who benefits?

Trying to get updates.  I know he ran at the Nike Outdoor Nationlas against the Nations best he ran a 10.6.  4* 2A kid signed with the Aggies.  He's a little dude too.

Aggies comparing him to Achane with the football

There is no doubt that Campbell has blinding speed. If he runs a fly pattern, forget it. The corner isn't going to keep up with him and you'd better have help over the top or it's six.

But that isn't all Campbell can do. He's got elusiveness that is off the charts. He isn't just fast, he's quick (and there is a difference). He can hit a defender with a drop-step, cut and change direction in the blink of an eye. And, as you'd expect from a sprinter, he gets to top speed really fast.

But this isn't a guy who is a sprinter playing receiver; he's a legitimate pass catcher. He's got great vision, not only finding the ball in the air but reading a defense once he has the ball. He catches the ball away from his body and knows how to maneuver himself in between the defender and the football to be in the best position to make a catch.

The Aggies tried the short but fast receiver concept in 2013 with Quiv Gonzalez, but he was stiff and was a straight-line speedster. Campbell is a lot more than that. He's got outstanding "wiggle" and can do a lot more than run north-south. He may be small, but he's a legit 4-star receiver who will likely be an asset on special teams as well.

Atascocita is doing well in these relays (4x1 and 4x4) they stand a good chance to win state this year if they can pick up a few individual racing awards

There's something very fishy and strange going on with this guy's 100 meter times. But then that's texas track> horsefly, jBall or jbell.

He ran a 10.61 at the Nike Nationals at the end of 2023 placing 6th or 7th. Opens the year with a 10.84 100 meters.

Those are not the track characteristics of a 10.22 guy.

Even when he had a major hurricane pushing him he could only do a 10.32.

He is definitely not a legit 10.22 sprinter.

Accept the evidence!

Then again maybe he had to run on a track surface similar to what we have here in Louisiana.... Instead of those $10 million "Nike Air Track Surfaces" that the majority of texas has. 😧😭😧

Be nice, Red

It just doesn't add up!

Halftime.

Think it's time to find something else to watch.

I saw where Lancaster pulled it out.  Heard criticism they stalled the ball the last 2mins of the 1st half drawing a lot of boos.
