I am a life long republican who is socially liberal and fiscally conservative. I am most certainly anti Trump, which I was not, since he his actions have proved him incompetent , dangerous and dishonest. I know tons of life long republicans who feel the same. I am of the mind set that Kav is a wing nut and I oppose wingnuts on the court. Makes sense since I am a social liberal, right? That said I thought this whole last minute political crap on the nomination was pointless. If not Kav it will be another guy with the same God first mantra, nonsense. It seems you may not have taken the time to understand my positions, preferring to lump me into the talking head stereotypes. Plus, the policies of Trump are so radical right that mainstream now seems liberal, socialist to the extremist views of the Trumpets. I never condemned Kav until yesterday. Not because of what Ford said but because of what he said and did. As he never heard about it again for 35 years and he never considered it an attack I am sure he was shocked and confused when Ford surfaced. To him it was just another party.
