When was the last time we had 5 Texas college football teams ranked. 5 of the top 25 NCAA basketball teams are from the state of Texas. Dville won The mythical high school basketball national championship. At one time Dville and Richardson was ranked 1 and 2 in the nation AP Preseason Top 25 First-place votes in parentheses: 1. Top 5? I was reviewing memories back from 2003 (if I was born with any sort of gift, it is my memory) and it made me want to watch old SLC highlights. Those teams were sharp. I was most impressed with their 2004 team. 2005 was dominant and gets a lot of praise but Chase Daniel was ridiculous. Kimball is actually 50 or 60 kids from going 4A. Kinda curious as to why the Desoto boys haven't had any real great teams in the past few years.
