The Covid Raiders (Rummel) lost 16 starters....14 of them to next level. We are not #21 nationally. In fact.... Rummel will probably get beat badly in Lafayette this weekend. St Thomas More (aka STM) is no joke offensively.

STM has the best QB in Louisiana and one of the best in the nation.

LSU commit Walker Howard. Will be a 5*.  Howard is going to throw it 50 times or more and he's going complete many of them for many TDs. lol

Unless we bring it...

Forget about that.

Looks like Rummel may not be making that trip to Lafayette because of the storm.

Keep an eye on STM though.

Maybe I should’ve consulted you since you’re the board’s Rummel fan. The first poll is always the most difficult.

Not much argument with the Georgia teams. I would consider replacing Valdosta at 50 with Cedar Grove or Warner Robins. In 7A, there's a fine line between the top 3 teams in the state and the rest, which you did a great job highlighting.

Venice and Edgewater a bit high but with states not playing I understand some teams will be higher as a result than in a normal year (not really a complaint just a observation)

I personally would have Central and Northwestern switched but both are in about the right tier of the rankings so that's fine

Overall solid poll

The Covid Raider will be competitive and could mature into a contender.

The #1 team in Louisiana may be playing tonight......Edna Karr

If they handle Catholic (Baton Rouge) tonight and John Curtis, and win another 4A title they can stake their claim.

Edna Karr returns most of their team from last year, but has to replace their QB who went on to the  FCS ranks.

QB1 AJ Samual is talking over for the next 2 years and is suppose to be a great ATH with good arm. He will get tested tonight by the Catholic coaching staff/defense

I'll give you credit for trying but #24 Don Bosco can not be in the top 25 since they shouldn't be in anyone's Top 50 and I can assure that even most of their alumni & supporters on this board would agree. Both Bergen & SJR are superior teams

Idk man, I’m still curious how good Bosco is, but hands down BC should be ranked way way higher than Bosco prolly Peters but petey played some bullshit ass team so we’ll seee this week how good Don  N PP really are

ok but from what we saw with our own eyes Friday night and what has been said from guys on this board who follow them intimately you can not rank them in the Top 50..GSB is right to a degree but I think you would be hard pressed to really rank SPP in the Top 25. I have them somewhere around #33 with BC & SJR following (at least for now) close behind.

I'd have Warner Robins over Valdosta right now...

Right now Warner Robins looks like a top 35 team at the least...

Cedar Grove showed that there's something there with that win over Milton thats a really good win for them..... I'd keep an eye on them

Fill out pickems then fool

winner this week gets a blimpies footlong sub

BC barely beat a rebuilding SJR team that lost 10 starters to graduation. The verdict is still out on how good of a win that really was. How the Big 3 perform vs #1 SPP will determine the true order. Trust the process.

BC & SJR are both above average teams. Bergen has more talent on paper but as I've said before I think they lack cohesiveness and proper coaching.  Granted it's a weird year without the usual practice time but I wasn't overly impressed with the defense. I actually think SJR might have more upside than BC. SPP will most likely win out. But that is my call after 1 game, which means absolutely nothing

Everyone is saying that about Valdosta and Warner-Robins, but since Valdosta actually beat WR I'll keep them ahead for now.

I'm not going to penalize them too much for getting blown out by IMG, since the Ascenders are laying waste to everyone in their wake. I do think Venice has been slightly more impressive in their other games since.

Agree...was shocked to see DBP at 24

My first poll is always a bit shaky. It'll take a couple weeks of fine tuning. Obviously, you Jersey guys are going to know these teams better than I ever will. They will all play eachother anyway, so it'll work itself out for the Sig6.

I personally still want to see how they do against Lakeland this week first

True, but they are without Garcia. Also, Warner Robins beat Archer by 35, a team that North Gwinnett just lost to. Warner Robins has dropped 42+ points in every game since the loss.
