Mjd33
Winners: Miami central - diamond rushing attack too much for the gorman gaels. James cook (200 yards+ rushing ) and the frosh RB amari Daniels (fastest guy on the team had 80 yard td) is going to be special. When's the last time an individual player ran for 200 yards on a BG defense ? My guess first time in either of the Sanchez era.... Greater Catholic League - lasalle and st X good wins over colerain only loss is Archbishop Moeller losing to good *trinity squad. Combined 11-1 record within league. Pa football- sjp, Erie cathedral prep, pine Richland, & A wood deserve more national respect. Those 4 teams are very good. Grayson - solid performance against John Curtis on the road. Solidifies 1 spot In GA Rancho Santa Margarita - won't beat sjb or md but can they test them similar to chaminade? Played cans but outscoring opponents 152-7 is impressive. Mission viejo on the 22nd first real test Allen - back to back weeks in winners circle. Beat a solid ECA LA team 28-7. Allen has only given up 15 points all year vs 2 good teams. Maybe defense that good justifies a 70 million dollar stadium ? Bingham - sound performance against a top 3 Hawaii team in kahuku Winning 17-0 sjc - Late addition to the winning circle. Deserved though .... Losers: BNU took it on the chin this wknd. Bergen Catholic uninspired performance. Slept walked and paid the price. They Were missing two D tackles and A wood took advantage with power rushing attack. When BC was Driving late deep in A Wood territory to win the game, I told the person I was watching game with BC should spike the ball on first down to huddle up, calm down, and regroup. There was only 30 or so seconds and BC had no timeouts anyway so prob weren't getting 4 plays off. BC could of Called 2 plays in the huddle for second and 3rd down instead they were rushed, out of sorts and a pick happened on first down. Sjr - seems poor specials and secondary got exploited by a legit sjc passing attack. Bad matchup as sjc is best at what sjr is prob worst at ..... sjr had success on the ground all day but got big played through the air. Noticed BC had some backups on specials so does sjr? Giving up kickoff return for td is a back breaker after tying the game. Never a fan of putting backups on specials in big games. Sjb had backup on specials round 1 against mater dei last year and it cost them. Spp - lost to defending PA state champs 28-21 .... according to commenters at the game poor special teams cost them in a one score game against sjp. Pc - o line seems to be an issue. Dominated by depaul 35-14.

Bodysurf
I'd add Mater Dei to the losers. Gorman, Bergen and St Mary's all losing this past weekend hurts MD's SOS.

Sammyswordsman
How bout the Trinity League going 6-0 and running their overall record to 17-1?
NotBigdaddybloom
Cen10 ran for over 250 on them in 2014. Had over 500 yards total.

SM got some love.... trinity league has many opportunities to join the winner circle. MD was on winners list already and sjb wasn't put on losers list for losing to an elite STA squad. Md bc SM mv sjb sjc all coming up in next few weeks ...

MD will still play sjb (maybe twice), possibly cc with healthy qb, and dls. Run that and md finishes 1.

Even with BG, Bergen and St Marys losing, MD still has a better schedule than last year. The rest of their schedule with all the Trinity games will help their SOS. Plus the CIF SS D1 playoffs will be at least 3 very good teams then there is DLS at the end if MD runs the table.
Gospeeder
Interesting thing about MD... as good as we think they are, it won't ever be fully polished until they get the DLS stigma off their back.

Nah. That was so long ago, the kids that played in those games have kids that play football now...there must be a statute of limitations, otherwise we'll all just wind up glory dazed and confused. And we can't have that... 1 1
