I think that game is more Michigan O- Line wearing out the Washington D- line

Would be helpful to have long drives ala Giants-Bills w a lot of Hostetler handoffs to OJ (JJ to Corum) and keep Penix Jr (Kelly lol) and his receiver talents on the bench.

Play physical ball and don’t start like you did vs Bama.

Gotta give the Huskies their due.  They controlled the game and earned that win.  A bitter 💊 to swallow on that one. Thought the Horns were gonna steal it.  Clean game by them and Penix was on fire.   Didn't  like the play calls inside the 15.

Seeing the Penix Jr interview… this will be Michigan’s first test vs a good QB (a darn good one).

Michigan is familiar with Penix when he was with Indiana. It was one of the few times IU beat Mich. The only thing this game will lack is not being played in the Rose Bowl.

Yes, but thinking a player is gonna get hurt so kneel isn't correct.  What if the C gets hurt?

Now you’re being silly.  Chance someone gets hurt 1) running a RB into the me line to gain yards or 2) running a take a knee play.  The play they ran also had a higher risk of a fumble.  The key on 3rd down was to make absolutely certain the clock ran.  Getting someone hurt was one way the clock could stop - so they needed to minimize the chance that could happen.

You're being silly thinking they should be doing that.  That takes the least amount of time off of the clock.  You're being results oriented by thinking that's what the correct play is based off the outcome.

Penix throwing the ball away was the big mistake.

Good memory.

Indiana definitely fared better than Michigan during the Covid season.

I heard the former HC Tom Allen was just hired as DC under Franklin at PSU.
