Trinity League Thread

This Thread is dedicated to the #1 League in the Country.  A league that has 33% of it's teams ranked in the National Top 5, and sports the defending National Champions.

Troy Thomas and Servite are coming out swinging with the announcement of new Offensive Coordinator Darnell Arceneaux. The former Utah QB and Head Coach from St Louis High School (Hawaii) has mentored many top quarterbacks, including Marcus Mariota and Tua Tagovailoa (Alabama). This hire will no doubt send shockwaves through the community and make Servite a destination for top quarterbacks and skill position players. His offenses are notoriously explosive, his quarterbacks athletic and well taught. A great hire.

He will see how bad it is when he doesn’t have any players consider almost all the talented skill players left.

On the surface it would seem that way.  But I recently met the parents of a couple young prospects, one a QB and the other a wideout.  Thery’re still a couple years out from HS but are already north of 6’ and are very athletic.  Although the parents expect to buy in Corona, they are most interested in Servite.

That's a great get for Servite. Can he teach them to play in a light drizzle?

Gorman would be competing for 3rd or 4th place last year and this year in the TL.

Gorman wouldve been 1st 2014-2016... And 2nd last year.

Lets not go overboard Ser Sammy.

2017 Mater Dei was OIAG after all... Its not like SoCal has a team like that all the time. Mater Dei was 3-4 scores better than any other team in California last year... And any year for that matter.

Best league in the nation but Sammy this is a national board. Stop propping up a team that is no longer relevant. Servite these days is the layup of the trinity league.

The Trinity League is the roughest, toughest league in the country and therefore every single team within that league is relevant. Bare minimum, Servite is playing against 2-3 national teams every year, which is more than 95% of the schools in the country. Not only that but they just re-hired the coach that brought them National relevance.

Servite maybe really good in 2020, but here is hoping t-bone gets a few more wins next year then he did last year

Just because you’re on the schedule of two of the best teams in the country doesn’t make you good or relevant.

It would have been nice if MD answered the phone when Gorman called (2010-2016). The Monarchs waited until the best team of all time graduated (2016 Gorman) before scheduling the Gaels.

Gorman only played one trinity team a year. Easy to get up for that. Got lucky in most of them. Flat out robbed Santa Margarita. Beating one trinity league team would make there season. That’s there method of operation. The state of Nevada is soft
