NotBigdaddybloom
MaxPreps says this game is being played at a neutral field, but how neutral can it be? They are playing Orange Lutheran High School located in Orange, CA at a neutral site located in Orange County called Orange Coast College. Hmmm some of that Trinity voodoo... 1

Sounds about as neutral as the Benz is for Colquitt when playing metro teams. Centennial don't care though. They're gonna beat OLU even if it was at whatever backyard OLU usually plays on. Bodysurf
It’s a home game for OLu. They don’t have a regular home field but they play the majority of their home games at Orange Coast College which is in Costa Mesa. Sometimes OLu has home games st Cerritos College or Santa Ana bowl (MD’s home field). Centennial wins this game no matter where its played. 1
CCBlackhatter
Lucky for Centennial, they will receive I nice boost for their beat down of OLu. Calpreps thinks they are Top 10 in the country. 🤣 That damn Ned!
Gospeeder
You saved me a post answering Hawg's question but I could never figure out why OLU does not have more home games at the SA Bowl. It's dumb to drive down to Costa Mesa when the bowl is almost next door and IMO a much better venue to watch their games. 1

OLU plays all their home games there. Same thing as playing SJG or MD “neutral” site in playoffs at Cerritos College or Santa Ana bowl. Worst thing about playing OLU at Orange Coast is the visiting team has to sit outside the locker room at halftime, just like at Chaminade. I live about 1/2 miles away...getting to OCC for OLu isn’t really a home game...could take up to an hour on a Friday afternoon...either way Olu will lose by 3 scores

I would put them at 40-50 with 5% chance of going undefeated right now. Despite win over Chandler which was ironically due to defense, they are still flawed. They couldn’t rush the ball despite two good backs, and the QB play was not up to snuff. Tossing it to Bryant a dozen times for 265yds and 3 long scores is not a sustainable offensive plan. I do expect them to improve a little each week and as NBDB says, earn their ranking.

Nolebull813
Yawn. Orange Lutheran came to Florida one year highly ranked and played a 2A team. That 2A team ran them back to Cali to the tune of 42-16. O Lu won their league that year. Was. Not. Impressed. Centennial will beat them like a rented mule, but the fake rankings will keep them high. Might go 4-6 but will still finish top 50 nationally

They don't play very often, and never in California but @Ararar would be a better person to ask
Nolebull813
Back in 08 Long Beach Poly beat MNW 29-7 in a preseason game. Both ended up losing in the finals. That is the only quality win ever for Cali. Florida hold like a lifetime edge of 23 games to 6 or something like that
