Who? Who? Who? And Cen10....

Now this is a legitimate question.

Compared to the Private schools.

How many transfers does Cen10 get?

Narbonne perhaps gets more transfers than Bosco. Cen10 historically gets a lot with players living in apartments near the school.

Narbonne had around 20 transfers last year and I'm talking a handful of high level D1's. They are going to be loaded this season with recruits.

Those other teams definitely get some transfers but they're all the players that leave MD/SJB because of transfers coming into those schools. MD and SJB get the high level transfers and the rest go to the above.

Step down, Mr. Blake. The 3 Bs are here to stay and make hsfb in Cali better!! #wakeup

Better in what regard?

I don't see the value of turning high school football into a contest of who can attract the most transfers in the offseason.

This looks like another instance of the foolish pride and greed of a few degrading an institution, one whose proper function is to develop young men into better human beings by teaching them a certain range of virtues.

it's not just transfers in but how schools attract 8th graders. some public have low cost apartments near by that are defacto dorms for football players.

We all know that housing in Corona can be expensive. Having affordable options for FAMILIES shouldn’t be looked upon as nefarious!

fair point...just like FAMILIES should have affordable education options and being offer financial aid shouldn't be looked upon as nefarous!

Cen10 does get transfers but not high profile ones like the MD and Bosco lol 99% of there transfers don’t have offers when they arrive.

Yeah, but most that transfer to MV are Trinity rejects like their last 2 starting QBs. Hell, Joey Yellen transferred to MV after falling to 3rd string at Bosco. That's a completely different transfer than what MD gets.

Please see my post from yesterday and replace Cen10 with MVAB2E6012-1B93-4F39-A9BF-D8A7458B3CC7.jpeg.2fba906dab7d8d7eb2fb328d332ecd65.jpeg

When IMG vs MD was being discussed I reviewed the rosters in late March last year at the time...  as well as SJB and STA.
What you'll notice is that Mater Dei had some serious recruits in the 2020 class and 40% of the offered kids were in the junior class.
Looking now at the '20 class they have 2 recruits rated #1 at their position, a #2, #10 and #16 as well.   They have 4 offered 2021 class (current sophs) including #6 and #9 at their respective positions (6 recruits in top 10, 7 top 16 at their position overall).  My guess there are more offered kids and the site isn't up to date.

Frankly, Mater Dei didn't need transfers this season...  and what better season to halt it than with this arsenal of upper tier talent.
Smart move by the admin actually.    Keep the news on SJB movement while still being very loaded.

The Bonne actually uses its satellite campus to get transfers too. I know a couple last year did that, including SDSU commit Brionne Penny.
