Took me 9 months to get a blinking cursor on that composit screen. 8 or so years later Trash Can Man made me want to try to build a Nuke. Of course I never got past the physics of it but it made me think. There was very little on the internet back then, thank god for that. I drooled over the Cray. I had 2 lasers can't remember how many watt, but it used a 240 volt power supply. I salvaged them from an old Harris Typesetter in 2004. Also 8 first surface mirrors that I was going to use as a secondary for my 10 inch telescope I was building. I was going to use the laser as a guide for alignment but I didn't build the telescope until 2014. By then the mirrors needed re-coating. Anyone know someone that does Military quality aluminized coatings? I would like a 95% or better reflected surface.
