Actually, Gaels is quite fitting, especially for this weekend in Las Vegas.  Gael mascot is an Irish/Celtic warrior.

Starting tomorrow night there will be an Irish uprising that will continue Saturday night at T-Mobileview.image?Id=863

I saw something like 93% of the bets in Vegas are on Conor

Including mine.  I got him at +5.50 and also threw in a few early round KO bets. If Conor wins and especially if it's an early KO the books are going to get killed.  Sharp $ will start coming in the next few days to even things up a bit, but sportsbooks need a Mayweather win

I dont believe Conor can win at all. He wont be able to catch Mayweather as he dances around the ring. Conor will be exhausted by round 4. I dont believe there is any chance of a KO unless Conor catches Mayweather with something that Mayweather doesnt see coming but i really dont expect it. I dont believe this fight is anything more then a glorified sparring session to make millions

He shouldn't, but that's why I'm getting 5 1/2 times odds.  Im a huge Conor fan and hope it's an entertaining fight & not just Mayweather running around all night.  McGregor has nothing to lose & I'd expect him to come out firing and throwing everything in the first 4-5 rounds.  Maybe he catches Mayweather being cocky and finishes him up.  Then the rematch conspiracy talk can start & both will stand to make even more $

Every Mayweather fight is a glorified sparring match. He is too big of a puss to go in and actually fight his opponent.

Block. Block. Block. Jab. Run away. Block. Block. Block. Jab. Run away.

By far the most boring boxer I've seen fight.

I guess I'll stick up for The Stag. DeMatha is technically named after St. John DeMatha. St. John DeMatha founded the Order of the Most Holy Trinity with his parents money and was tasked with the freeing of Christians from Moorish captivity during The Crusades. All of this was sparked by a dream where he saw a White Stag with a red and blue cross above its head. It's a more personal way of being called "The DeMatha Crusaders". In modern terms, he was a rich guy who used his trust fund to fight ISIS.

Ive already heard that they have the rematch lined up. Itll be in the octagon. The only reason i may watch this fight is because the local bar is showing it for free. Mayweather is gonna run. thats what he does. be prepared for him to do it.

Fair enough. Still sounds like I'm going to a party solo.

Nope. Didn't watch much boxing until the last 6 or 8 years. What have you done for me lately kind of thing.

Gotcha. If you want to see him when he came up, Youtube one of his fights from the late 90s. He was just as elusive, but he would pounce on guys and knock them out or get a TKO when he saw an edge. As close to perfect in execution in the sport as it gets.

I was only a preteen in those days and had no interest. I just feel his hype is based off of a period of time that is nearly two decades in the past. The way he fights now is not what the masses want to see for a primetime slot on the fight card.

Add to that, he boasts and showboats as if he is a true fighter, which he is not. Especially his joking on Conor losing three fights knowing good and well he would be TKO'd or forced into submission by some amateurs in the octagon.
