They rotate D line a lot to minimize the pounding by guys with significant weight advantage.

You really have drank the cool aide, haven’t you. You use to be a level headed poster on here but since MD sold their souls to win the Open, seems like you have too. Any excuse, any reason, and harsh come back to justify the end results. MD, SJB with a few others have disgraced HS Football. How many mercenaries are transferring into MD for football this year then returning to their previous school when the season ends?

Many HS football fans here in the SS aren’t any happier than you about this, but crying over it won’t change the situation. DLS has enjoyed a tremendous advantage over their opponents over the years. Hell, the Folsom rule has worked out as well for DLS as for Folsom. DLS hasn’t had to face the two best Folsom teams ever in the playoffs and really only has to worry about facing one team on equal or better footing to win the title. A lot of teams down here would love to have that luxury. Don’t worry though, everyone’s fans including MD and SJB, recognize DLS for its sportsmanship, etiquette, and adherence to principals.

All of the Ngata brothers (Ariel, Joe and Daniyel) were raised in Reno. Along with Kaiden Bennett and Chandon Pierre. LMFAO at Las Vegas guy constantly laying claim to Reno talent, which is over 3x closer to the Sac area than it is Vegas -- which is well over 400 mi away. Even the Bay area is 200 miles closer to Reno than Vegas. Hell, LA is less than 100 mi further away than Vegas! Seems like @Sammyswordsman, @Eddyr2and @Ararar are missing out on a golden opportunity to lay claim too While technically in Nevada, Reno is regionally far more NorCal than any connection to Vegas. Hell, Truckee HS is well within the CA border yet they participate in a Nevada league and Nevada state playoffs. Do you want to claim their players as your own too? What's next? The SoCal contingent claiming NorCal talent as their own since it's also only 400+ miles away? SMH. It's about regional proximity, not imaginary border lines. Regional proximity is why SoCal doesn't claim Fresno/Bakersfield as 'SoCal' -- even though they could. Teams in NorCal, specifically the SJS/Valley, face off against a multitude of Reno-based teams every season -- due to proximity. If you're gonna go this route, then most of Bishop Gorman's great teams aren't 'Nevada' born and bred. Lots of transfers from SoCal and other states (remind me where Tate Martell is from again? LOL) Because of that, I guess Nevada guy feels the need to grasp on to anything he can.

I We don't claim Fresno, Bakersfield, San Diego or LA City section as So Cal because those areas play football more like Nor Cal programs. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Just the coaching, prep work, rivalries, player competitive mentality are not up to So Cal Standards

Comparing player capability on a position by position basis, using just one kicker, the tally is 21-2 in favor of MD. Should be no more than a scrimmage.
