True but he didn’t fake that hand in his face and that wasn’t inadvertent. He should have received a yellow for diving earlier in the game though. That’s the only way to handle the shenanigans. Brazil had plenty of chances for the equalizer and of course their own goal and a brilliant Belgium rush put them down 2-0. Croatia probably expended too much in the game against Russia to beat England, and I expect France to net four goals against Belgium. Should drop the extra time halves to 10 min each and then switch to next goal wins with short intermissions between switching sides. The pk shootout endings are thrilling, but the NHL imo does it right between regular season and playoffs. An event played every 4 years to have a finish altered by normal rules of play just seems odd. I realize NHL has lines and commercial breaks, but anyone who follows soccer knows there are breaks in play and that not all the players are running at full speed or even jogging at all times. I still think Brazil was the best team at the world cup, I'd follow them up with Belgium and France. France, contrary to what some may think is not a great scoring team this tournament. It will be hard to counter a team like Belgium. I think France will get very frustrated. If Belgium scores first I think France will panic, I don't think the same is true with Belgium.
