Nah, I can’t go with that 1st one.  DV opponent tonight, lake highlands, was blown out by skyline a few weeks ago 41-18.  A skyline team DV man handled last week 61-0.  This game should have been a massacre

That one was a joke but it is freezing out here. Also, Duncanville doesn’t have anything to prove right now. They need to stay healthy so I’m not going to look into their offensive output that deeply. They could easily put it into cruise control and be just fine until the playoffs start.

The red flag will be a team scoring multiple TD’s on their defense.

Yea, probably so.

But across the way, NS had Banks back tonight and the word is he looked amazing.  They played a comparably ranked team as lake highlands and rolled easily...on both sides of the ball.

This is not the time to get complacent is all I’m saying.    Teams should start catching some momentum with him the next few weeks

What you mean wow?  Paris isn't ready for the Big 3 in that district.

They'll be the 4th team in.

I sure didn't expect 34 - 0.  No one expected that.  As a matter of fact FSSW is about to show the highlights and called it a big showdown in district.

Paris had 2 losses coming in 22 -16 @ Pleasant Grove   and  54 - 46 @ Melissa.  And beat State Ranked Gilmer on the road 37 - 20.   No one saw that coming.

I tell you what Carthage got some big dudes in 4A DI

Dvilles entire OLine is injured.   They’ll be fine. Trying to stay as healthy as possible right now.  Believe Samples said last week they look like an emergency room with all the injuries.

I was told by good source that they had planned on playing a lot of young kids in this game.  Not sure if the weather caused problems or not.  Was kinda shocked to see some games in the area cancelled at half due to the weather

Yeah, they're definitely on Mater Dei's level.

Right there, man.

Nipping at their heels.

😄

Fortunately they can keep their entire O-lline in the "emergency room" for the next 6 weeks and still win every week 28-6.  If that happens in the Trinity League, they get tagged with some "L's".  Same luxury that enables DLS streak in Nor Cal

What?

Is that a Jeopardy answer to the question..."Name 5 teams better than Duncanville's remaining opponents"?

I watched a few of these teams they are not that good.  DV would beat all these teams comfortably, injuries and all.  That's the point.  You overhype the TL as some top notch league top to bottom when in reality it's defined by the top

I agree that the #1 team in Texas would beat those teams.  So would the #1 team in Calif and the #1 team in Maryland, and Florida.

Proves nothing.

Be careful what you wish for.  Don't make us send Amat back to Texas.

It disproves your point of teams having to bring it week in and week out vs TL teams. DV could have an off week vs those laggards and be fine.

If DV played vs elite TX teams like they did last night they lose.  That’s the bigger point and the only one that matters

My point is on point.  If DV played TL level teams (MD, SJB, JSerra, Servite) on a 4 game stretch, they would have a much higher potential for picking up a loss or three if they fielded a team ravaged by injuries like their current squad.
