Allen is a large area of Dallas that has "ONE SCHOOL" in it... "Allen High School"

It's the largest Public School in Texas.   They dont have to divided their kids between 2, 3, or 4 High Schools.

It doesn't explain huge numbers of ballers showing up.

I called it out at STA. I'll call it out in Cali. And unless large numbers of ballers' families are showing up at Allen High School because mom or dad got a new job in Allen and they had to move, then I'll call it out there too.

It's a one high school town.

So they have the largest high school in the country.

A city of 100,000 people purposefully refuses to build another high school so they can stack one school with all the talent for community "pride."

If a community chooses to have a huge school just to have a good team, than that's just fucked up.

The real question is all the ballers magically showing up during high school.

Allen is a huge area of Northern Dallas and one of the fastest growing areas of Texas and the nation.   It has one high school at the moment and is the largest Public School in Texas.

They have people moving in from all over the country and even other parts of Texas because it's a nice area to live and there is a lot of job opportunity in the region.

For 99.99% the people it has nothing to do with the football team.

The State doesn't mandate when a new school will be built.  The ISD for the area along with the people do most of that.  When the Allen ISD decides they need another High School.  They'll put one in.

Really?

Allen gained 34 move-ins for football for the 2017-18 school year, according to documents obtained through open records requests.

Plano ISD, which has the state's second-, third- and fourth-largest high schools but hasn't won a football state title since 1994, averaged fewer than five football move-ins per school over the last five school years.

There was an Allen HS situation in Texas back in the 80's and early 90's and it was called Converse Judson (Eastern San Antonio).

They and Plano HS were the two largest Public schools in Texas and it usually showed on the football field many times.

Converse built another school (Cibolo Steele) and now both have very good and solid teams and even compete for State Titles and make deep playoff runs.  But not as strong when both teams were basically ONE.

And yet Plano, which is right next door, is also in that fast growing region and has 3 high schools.

In fact, it seems that all of the other similarly sized school districts in Collin County have more than one high school.

Plano (3)

McKinney (3)

Wylie (2)

We know brother. 6500 kids at Allen but you’re at a disadvantage.

Nobody ever said they was disadvantage.  If they truly recruited just Collin county they would be a lot better the last several years

what have you done for me lately - last 4 years

Didnt win our state title last year 2018 got beat in semifinals

won it in 2017

didnt win it in 2016 - got beat in semi finals

didnt win it in 2015 - got beat in semi finals

All 3 teams that beat them also got beat in the finals

Texas Depth!

Not like Allen..   I guess your not up on current events.   Texas is one if not the #1 State in the country with the fastest growing population.

https://www.census.gov/newsroom/press-releases/2019/subcounty-population-estimates.html

Only one city entirely in Collin County was in the top 15 fastest growing large cities: McKinney.

McKinney has 3 high schools.

#4 was Frisco which is partly in Collin County.

The Frisco ISD has 10 high schools.

So no... not many places in America are experiencing this growth.

https://www.census.gov/newsroom/press-releases/2019/subcounty-population-estimates.html

Another area of Texas is experiencing similar growth: Georgetown/Round Rock.

The Georgetown ISD has 2 high schools.

The Round Rock ISD has 5 high schools.

If Killeen didn't split into 4 HS watering down the talent you would have 2 super teams in that area year in and year out.
