My kid is at Joes.  A soph.  He doesn't play football.  He was telling me over the summer about this kid who's an animal, in a good way.  I searched him, trying to get to MaxPreps to get his year and stats, and found this site, too.  The kid had a nice game today, btw.

I looked at this site now and again, saw a sign up push, ignored that, saw the NJ interest pickup this past week, and joined a short while before the game today.

How's that sound?

I'm a good kid:

Turnabout being fair play, how did you find us?  How did any find this place?  It's kinda out there

SJR got the hell beat out of them today. Guaranteed they are missing starters if they play next week

Relax ....we continue to schedule and the play the best ... we got worked ... I am sure their is massive disappoint in the team for not playing better ... etc ... we play Paramus Catholic next week.... and we play them in B more next year ... only can help with the rest of the season instead of playing  creampuffs ...

Don bosco scored Triple the points against SJB, than Dematha did, DBP>Dematha

lol, no

SJB pulled their 1s in the 2nd quarter and the backup QB threw a pick which led to a DBP TD. SJB could have named the score that night, but Negro didn't want to embarrass their brother school who travelled 3,000 miles to play them.

Classy school along with DLS.  MD and J Bosco are on another level.  Maybe some Tx team too, which is not to say that Tx isn't stacked as usual, but those 2 Cali schools are freaky good

SFA vs IMG will be interesting

Sjr vs SFA was really good, it was just SFA absolutely Wore SJR completely out by the 3rd quarter with their plethora  of D1 athletes

definitely a humbling experience for joes, Definitely a reality check, they Obviously needed, good thing for joes is this is the best team they’ll play so it can only get easier from here on out

Dear member,

It has been brought to the attention of the Executive Committee that we lost a member from the NJ contingent this week.  Please let our sub committee on lost members aware of said member so that our sub committee on member outreach can reach out to said member.

Also, please be sure to attend a game this year in order to be eligible for said future membership.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

-The Comish

last thought.....do you want to play the best and compete or dominate and not compete.....will watch game in full,,,,only saw bits in the woods camping.....proud of SJR for scheduling them and going forward.....now the battle for the State....Beat BC / Bosco / SPP et al......

I think SJR will do very well and run the rest of the schedule.  They scheduled great this year, and are making a memorable season for the players and fans.  I love the approach and agree that it is much more rewarding that slaughtering local public schools.

No one was hurt yesterday. Everyone who is injured now had that injury going in. Joe's defense was more physical than theirs.  SFA defense was just to big for Joe's offense. The big hits on that game were delivered via Joe's defense.

That was also what SFA coach said.  Teams know that when they schedule a top BNU team, the game is going to be very physical and possessions will be limited.

I knew that we would lose, but I didn't think it would be 28-0.  St F's OL was slow.  D Ham (260), AQM, (230), Strizak (230), and Gross (215) would have had a field day with their quickness.

T Wypler (#1 NJ recruit, 4 star, Ohio State), G VanDemark (4 star), RB Estime (4 star, and best RB in NJ), and QB Alaimo (Purdue QB), I thought, would put up some points before we got tired in the trenches.  How does that O not put up any points???  none.  How much more talent do we need to just score a freakin' point?

3 star Penn State Vanover,

3 star Rutgers Mack,

3 star Rutgers Powell.

A super-inferior 2014 Bosco team with feet-don't-fail-me-now McCoy at QB beat #1 ranked STA on a neutral field, with an inferior coach, against a team arguably with more talent at least in the 4-5 star range than St F has--e.g., 5 star Bosa, 4 star Scarlett, 4 star Peete, 4 star Bruce, 4 star Grimes, 4 star Harley, 4 star White.  STA had many 2 and 3 stars

and if one says SFA has more talent than STA had, by how much?  and Bosco was far less talented than yesterday's Joes was

we hit them harder???

It’s definitely Tess

of the d'Urbervilles???  are you calling me gay?  Reserving all rights, and just kidding around, i just offered a fellow poster a faux opportunity to engage in soft porn with women, which will set us back a bit--granted--but what's a metrosexual like him (66 called him that, and so ...) and a straight guy like me gonna do to keep things interesting?

what are you talking about?

you brace me hard yesterday instead of welcoming a fellow Joes poster, and that other cat trying to use that "where there's smoke, there's fire" logic, which Samuel L wasn't falling for, and neither am I.

I'm going back to read some Matthew Arnold poems, contemplate "ignorant armies clash[ing] by night" and the near impossibility of certitude and meaning in the absence of Christ, and hit the sack.

Maybe you'll be gone tomorrow
