But yet minnesota who is everyone darling has a crap ass OOC as well and had to come back in the 4th quarter in all OOC games this year.

And ohio state is the first team in the playoff era to win a game and lose their ranking

Minnesota has a win against Penn State. The ONLY thing you can say about Bama is they have a close LOSS to the only team they have played with a pulse. This isnt difficult. Bama will not be in the playoffs and have only themselves to blame.

Ur opinion. Many disagree. Penn state will be a multi loss team at years end. Let's see how that hold up Minnesota

no you homer SEC guys disagree. Penn State was number four in the nation. The committee agreed and put them there.

You line Penn State up against LSU, Bama, GA the games are a toss up. Penn State beats the shit out of the rest of the SEC.

Were not arguing penn state against the bottom of the sec. Were comparing penn state who might be finish innthe top 10 with 2 losses to an Alabama team who will have 1 loss at years end. Penn state won play in conf champ neither will alabama. Penn state will probably go to the rose bowl.

If they put Oregon in the committee will be embarrassed  it wont be a competitive game with Ohio state vs oregon. And the tv ratings will suffer because nobody gives a damn about the pac 12

Redzone should get thumbs down for every post in this thread, I've never seen a weaker argument than the ones redzone pushes

You are insinuating a win over Auburn means nothing... But are crowing about a team that LOST to Auburn.

I didn't insinuate anything, think tank.

I said, explicitly, that beating Auburn will be at the crux of any argument in favor of Georgia/Alabama but a loss to them with 9 seconds left was being used by Cajun to claim that Oregon was soft as charmin.

Gump probably has 10 first rounders this year and a legit Heisman candidate.... and a loss to #1 LSU by 5 points.

Utah and Oregon have each other!! 🧡

You gotta love convenient arguments that are employed by SEC fanboys.

First, they try to argue about best wins.

Then when when they realize that Alabama has no good wins they pivot to NFL draft picks.

They will say whatever it takes to justify another SEC team in the playoff.

Bama's only possible decent win will be a 3-loss team at a minimum.

Yes that's true. But this is the sec were talking about.

Auburn has losses to Florida #10 lsu #1 and has to play #4 this weekend and #5 bama in the iron bowl. That schedule is crazy good. Plus beat a top 7 Oregon game. That schedule if Alabama beats them will certainly help. Auburn may have 4 losses at years end but those 4 losses against all top 10 teams

Then maybe Bama should not lose at home and avoid scheduling New Mexico State, Southern Mississippi, and Western Frigging Carolina.

All in the same frigging year.

Bama = No Resume

None.

So what... the SEC is weak as hell this yr.  The past couple of years Bama could lean on the strength of schedule in the SEC. This yr they can't.  This really isnt that hard man.

They will never stop scheduling some of those teams. They replace duke next year with usc. But they have Kent state nick saban alma mater next year as well. That money goes to the lesser programs. So unless the committee starts rewarding teams with losses with a great schedule you will continue to see garbage on the schedule

And barely squeaked by in 3 other games.
