I had read when I did A Level History back in the 1970s that Stalin and Hitler (I am not equating Trump with their evil just to be clear) were prime examples of leaders who benefited from a "cult of personality." I never thought I would live to see the day when an American leader would, too, as I thought that the electorate here was just too suspicious of government to fall for that. If you know about American/world history we set the stage for hitler after world War 1 through the treaty of Versailles. The German economy military etc was destroyed after world War 1. Long came this world War 1 vet named hitler who gave the German people someone to blame for their problems and the people jumped behind him. That, as well as not wanting to spend more money, were the reasons they made this new move. Under Federal law, the Government is not generally subject to liable suits. The man thinks the country is his to do what he wants with it. That is why he so admires strong men and dictators. Lord help America if he stays in power.
