The BS AD contacted me on Monday about Benedictine VA canceling on them for 9/15. The only program that was interested was Champagnat Catholic, who needed a boatload of money to visit VA. BS then did the next best thing by shifting its BYE week up.

Brilliant move by both CQ and BS upgrading their previous opponents. Should be a vgood game.

Agreed 100%. Lots of cool Daisy chains to come from this as well

Now the Packers just have to win those two games!!!

Colquitt has the potential to do pretty well this year. The main problem is the we have a VERY young team. I tend to agree with HawgGoneI.... I wish these games were scheduled for next year. There is a lot more depth in our Juniors and Sophmores than our Seniors. I'm not sandbagging at all. We do have some great individual players but it takes a team to win. I think our D will be okay but the young kids that comprise the OL and WR corps will have to ball out for us to be effective. It's going to be a hell of a season to watch though!

Guess you can add Colquitt to the list.

https://pilotonline.com/sports/high-school/football/bishop-sullivan-catholic-again-schedules-football-games-against-national-powerhouses/article_b77f3175-72ca-5dfe-bc28-dd191eb811ca.html

Interesting though.

Bishop Sullivan will once again be ineligible to compete for a VISAA state championship because its schedule features only one member private school (at Benedictine, Oct. 14). Instead, the Crusaders will play an ambitious schedule dotted with powerful teams.

“We’re going to be playing against some very talented athletes,” Scott said. “All the teams are going to bring out the best in us.”

PUUUHHHLLLLEEASSEEEE!!!!!!  Nice try homie.  Before long ECHS will be along to tell us how those teams they are playing are the second coming of Christ himself.

I just make sure you nubs dont start your "they arent really top 25 in the state, even though theyve been ranked there every year the last 10 seasons"...

Bishop Sullivan is better than VM. They are Preseason #64 at HSFBA. We'll definitely know just how good before they play Colquitt.

Before they play Colquitt... B. Sullivan plays...

(8/26) vs American Heritage (Plantation) FL ... HSFBA Preseason #40

(9/01) vs St. Frances Academy MD ... HSFBA Preseason #51

(9/22) @ Good Counsel MD ... HSFBA Preseason #88

And then after Colquitt... they play @ IMG Academy who is HSFBA Preseason #5.

Totally. I'll let NOR know too! CQ turned lemons into lemonade in less than 48 hours. Kudos all around.

Let NOR know when he gets back he'll be hit with a link to CalPreps State Scaling page every second of every minute he spends here.

Im going to make sure the prick knows how wrong he was.

So we South Georgians are allowed to list our games in Metro Atlanta?

Well, Google tells me that that's about 200 miles, which is half of 400.

But if there is a team in South Georgia that made the phone calls, found the money, and went looking for games against the best teams in Atlanta, I don't see why not.
