We clearly watched two different games.

Servite only threatened to score a TD once in the entire game.  They never got into the red zone in the first half.  They couldn't stop Bakersfield for the entire 3rd quarter... and I mean 11 of the 12 minutes.  Up only by 7, they did finally manage to get down to kick a field goal.  Going up by two scores took the Drillers out of their run attack, which secured the Friar win.

But control the game?

That's definitely something Servite did not do.

Bakersfield is a pretty good program and will win 10 games this year.  Servite beat them fielding basically a team made up predominatly of underclassmen, which had only freshmen level experience.  I am VERY happy with the game results.

Dude, those coaches must make serious bank to all be living there.

Compared to most of the other SoCal coast cities, HB is one of the most affordable.  I don't really know why.  I'd much rather live here than in Laguna Beach or Manhattan Beach.

That said, in my neighborhood, the median home value is still between $800-850K.
