Ararar
Chaminade football coach Ed Croson said there were at least 10 quarterbacks who “inquired” about coming to the West Hills campus in the annual musical chairs of quarterbacks looking for playing time in the off season. The one who showed up this week was sophomore Jaylen Henderson, who started five games last season for City Section champion Narbonne until sophomore Jake Garcia, a transfer from Long Beach Poly, became eligible. First the football participation goes down, then student enrollment, then you get fired. -Servite School President Fortunately the trend is now back on the upswing.

PassingLeagueHero
Just read this on SJB Athletics website. With DBP, Westlake(GA), GC and Milliani...at least 2019 non-league schedule looks better than last year. Anyone know who the 5th non-League opponent might be?

Next time you're (or anyone else is) in SoCal, here's a tip. Traffic rush "hour" (HA!) is approximately (and depending on where you live) 6:30 am thru 8:45 am and 2:45 pm thru 7:30 pm... and hope there aren't any accidents at any other time. Also, why were you staying in Santa Monica? If you have business in southern LA County or Orange County, stay clear of Santa Monica. It's the corridor around LAX (i.e., south of Santa Monica) that is the most brutal. I once had to visit a customer in SM where it took me 1 hour to get to LAX (about 36 miles) and another to get to the customer (about 10 miles). I live in Orange County and I fly out of LAX a lot for work. I avoid flights leaving 8-10 am and 3-7 pm like the plague.

Mililani isn't going to be as good as last year. When it was the 3rd best team in a top heavy football state consisting of one good national team and 2-3 decent teams and the rest scrubs. I wish they'd do a home-and-home with St. Louis but their coach Cal Lee is scared to leave the rock.

D9 school that lost pretty badly in the second round.Thats pretty low on the totem pole out here.I would expect Permian to win but maybe the coach feels he will be better this year
