Mater Dei's outgoing transfers are a result of loyal Monarchs being replaced by incoming transfers. So far, that hasn't happened this year, but they are both related. If and when the incoming transfers start showing up at Mater Dei, the exodus will soon follow. And whatever school they flee to, results in Mater Dei posters saying, "See...they do it too."

Maybe he will be defending against Malik Henry in practice.  He just walked on to UNR.

Aren't you from Florida?  Shouldn't you have been use to this LONG ago?

No because some neighborhood schools in FL still can and have beaten top Privates in the state....

Miramar

Lakeland

Miami Central

ETC.

Not every state can be like Cali with transferred up Privates... That nobody outside of other Privates and Cen10 can compete with....

True so far. And on the flip side MD does not have any transfers coming in yet. ‘Yet’ being the key word since it’s still early and there may be some activity that isn’t public yet. But it’s safe to say MD is very quiet so far in regards to transfers. Bosco on the other hand has gone over the top.

Bro Christmas just happened... We all know for us Privates Transfers aren’t gonna roll in till Spring when they usually find out who’s the starters for the upcoming year

Yes true that transfers come in Spring or Summer. But it’s becoming more common to see transfers earlier at the start of second semester so that they can participate in Spring football.

I'm anxious to see what QBs leave Mission Viejo after they declare a starter with who they have there in Harris and who already transferred, the heir apparent to Helinski at OLU and rumored transfer, the starter last year for LBP.

JSerra and Mission Viejo benefit a lot from this. MV with a lot of Trinity transfers. Sometimes it's quality leaving too like a 4 star back-up like QB Joey Yellen, who had zero chance of seeing the field as a 3rd stringer at Bosco and yet got a schollie to Arizona State.

Santa Margarita football coach Rich Fisher has been relieved of his duties after three seasons, athletic director Jim Hartigan confirmed Wednesday.

Haritgan, the school’s former football coach, declined to comment on the reason for the move but said the Trinity League school would quickly begin the search for a replacement for Fisher, a former assistant coach at Nebraska.

The Eagles finished 3-7 last season overall, 0-5 in the ultra-competitive Trinity League.

“We appreciate the time we spent here,” Hartigan said. “There were improvements in the program that we appreciate.”

Fisher didn’t immediately respond to messages Wednesday seeking comment.

Quarterback Peter Costelli said players learned Wednesday of the news from school president Andy Sulick.

“I’m very said at this news,” said Costelli, who will be a junior in the fall.

Haritgan said the offseason transfer of two well-regarded players to JSerra didn’t lead to Fisher’s dismissal. He said transfers in the league are common but acknowledged the high turnover the league has experienced in its coaching rankings.

Only Mater Dei’s Bruce Rollinson and St. John Bosco’s Jason Negro have found stability.

“It’s football. It’s competitive,” said Hartigan, who also coached at JSerra before taking over as athletic director.

Hola Professor,

Sound point...

Servite’s QB last year played for the team off of La Palma all four years?

Don’t answer that...we only talk about nationally relevant schools here, no need to bring up a schools that is 3-26-1 vs their arch rival over the last 30 years...

Yeah, I just found out that this forum was alive and well. I thought it went out of business a couple years ago when the guy who ran it disappeared.

How quickly we forget - From “Dallas Jackson, illogical king of high school football” to “The guy who ran it.”

Most likely the same weekend in Dec. as last year.  I think it was the 2nd weekend in Dec.  which would be the 13th and 14th

Usually yes, but this year it was actually scheduled for the 7th and the 8th. Only reason they changed was because of the fires.
