Those days don’t could as “fall camp/hell week”. California “Fall camp” starts 2 weeks before the a teams first game. Most teams have a week 0 game so they can have a bye week. Correct, they are a prep HS in Mexico City. I think it is the same team Aledo crushed last year. I wish we were not playing them for the next 2 years, but it is what it is... Then they played like shit - block punt for TD and turnovers all in the 2nd Qrt of that game giving Amat great field position and Amat gambled couple of times on 4th down and came up big. Amat beat pretty good team that day...who by the end of the season was damn good. The best I have ever seen Aledo play was later that year when they beat the shit out of very athletic John Tyler. The bottom line Aledo is elite for the division that they play in and would be just another team playing against the big boys of Texas football Excuse thread anyone?
