Why these Mater Dei Transfers caught DLS Attn:

Like I said before Cali..  When the other 49 States are playing with those joke "relaxed" Transfer rules and policies that the CIF-Southern Section has.   Then pat yourself on the back.

Right now your just a collection of some of the best High School talent from Southern California that you can get on an annual basis.

Source:   Los Angeles Times.

The 2017 Mater Dei (National Title team) had 54 listed transfers on the roster.

"Mater Dei vs St. Johns Bosco is a showcase for attracting top talent."

Chris Ward (Mater Dei and UCLA) came back to Mater Dei to coach the O-line for Coach Rollison in 2015.  "It was definitely different than when I played at Mater Dei-- The Talent level went through the roof."

Players showing up from around Southern California and including the Inland Empire.  Van Pools, Uber drivers were  making the transportation concerns disappear for parents.

St.Johns Bosco located near the 605 and 105 Freeway starting getting players from Manhattan Beach, Inglewood, Lakewood and Long Beach.

San Juan Capistrano JSerra has 13 transfers this year.  St. John Bosco has 3 defensive starters from Servite  High School.  Mater Dei has 11 transfers from Rancho Cucamongo, La Habra, Eastvale Roosevelt and L.A. Cathedral.

Parents have decided that location doesn't matter when choosing a school because car pools, van pools, buses, Metro train and offers of financial aid have changed.

To pretend this is the same thing that goes on in Texas is absolutely ignorance. That is not real HS football.

Build a Private School in the middle of Katy ( You have about 8 High School to steal talent from).

Build a Private School in the middle of Conroe  (you have about 8 High Schools to steal talent from).

Build a Private School in Fort Bend County (You have about 8 High Schools to steal talent from).

Build a Private School inside the Houston 610 Loop (You have about 8 High Schools to steal talent from).

Build a Private School on the Eastside of Houston (I-10) (You have about 8 High Schools to steal talent from).

Build a Private School in the Richmond/George Ranch area of Houston (You have about 8 High schools).

You get the drift Cali blowhards.  You aint doing anything special.  Just collecting a lot of local "stud talent" and putting in on a so called High School team and saying.... "play ball."

I could do the same with Dallas and Fort Worth...    San Antonio and Austin.

HELL, I could take the Longview and a 20 mile radius around it and build a Super-Power football team.

Do something special Mater Dei besides bragging about your "ALL-STAR" Transferred up football team.

PS..  These so called Private schools from all around Houston would also be nothing but 3-Star, 4-Star and 5-Star recruits for the most part.

Several teams from Texas would of beat the 2015 DLS team.

Irrelevant to this conversation.  You might be right, you might be wrong.  It was four years ago.  DLS would have also beaten more than several teams from Texas that year, but they only played one of them.  Move along, little doggie....

So after all of this, everyone still agrees that the best from Texas  would end 3rd in Cali? 😂 love it. Excuses and guess what? More excuses. You have 6500 kids at Allen and parents aren’t paying any difference in rent at Allen or any other school .texas is dirt cheap wherever youre at. Can’t wait to put 50 on sjc in their house and shut all you clowns up. You guys are so good when you beat sjc but when MD handles them “it’s not fair”. Love that it’s only fair if you win😂.  Clowns clowns clowns.  Maybe you soft little bitches can join the Katy or Allen kindergarten class since you love to bitch and cry so much. Soft soft soft.

I think Mater Dei is really good but come on. You guys are not the same as any public school in Texas. Your QB literally played at Cathedral and transfered in with major power 5 offers. It's just different.
