Ga96
Having to go back through the games after a loss is pitiful but funny at times. Coaches can't blame anyone but themselves. You send kids out there that don't know how to play their positions and that's the result. 13 and 7 are both seniors.
Fred
5 hours ago, Nolebull813 said: Yes. I would say the first team in 50 years to win every single game by at least 14 points qualifies as most dominant. (Not including the postseason exhibition game) Do you have a suggestion? Maybe a team from the highest class with an outrageous point differential? Give me the goods A quick look shows 2002 Parkview Panthers won their 3rd consecutive state title with 550 points scored against 74 points allowed. That's an average of 36.7 points scored vs 4.9 allowed. That also predates the high powered passing offenses. In fact Jeff Francour's receiving record for that year was something a little above 1,100 yards I believe. Now days, that doesn't get you in the top 20-25. I'm sure there are others but I don't really feel like looking them up.
ATLien12x
It’s okay, Fred, you can say it. That 2016 Grayson team was far more talented than the 2021 Collins Hill group. I’d argue both Colquitt teams in 2014 and 2015 were more complete football teams as well. Especially the 2015 group, they would’ve scored on Collins Hill and really stressed Horn and company to keep pace

Northside had 2 losses to nobodies. (7-4) Jonesboro 25, Northside 15 greatest team in Georgia history 21, Northside 19 pass. Any else? You are passing because you got your head handed to you. Almost doesn't count. The fact is they won when they had to. 45 in a row against some stout competition means something. 3 consecutive back to back titles means something. 550 points scored against 74 points allowed means something. So far, Collins Hill has one title. One season does not make the greatest team in 50 years especially when it wasn't.

Not a dynasty run. The 2021 Collins Hill team was the most dominant in the last 50 years

You trudged in with Parkview and then when informed that they almost lost to a middling team you respond with "well, they won when they had to!" Which wasn't the topic. The fact that it took one single post to make you abandon the original intent is wild.

Which is pretty much the definition.

Atticus Finch
@Fred Just to let you know, buddy, that the 2000, 2001 and 2002 Parkview teams are different teams, and not one team. 2000 2001 2002 Different. Get it?
ATLien12x
Would you have taken 2021 Collins Hill over 2015 Colquitt or 2016 Grayson? @Atticus Finch

Nolebull813
Hey just because Collins Hill lost to Graham Kapowow doesn’t mean they weren’t the best team in GA team the last 50 years. Stop orphaning them.

Nolebull813
Collins Hill was actually the first team I over 50 years in Georgia to beat every team by at least 15 points. I kept saying 14 but I was selling them short. They outscored their 5 playoff opponents 208-
