SJB(no surprise), Calabassas, Serra Gardena, La Habra all with impressive wins tonight.

OLU in for a long year.  Looks like their game with Narbonne might not be a good barometer for how good Narbonne will be.

How about this one from So Cal...

Oaks Christian goes down 54-28 to D3 Grace Bretheren!!!.... OUCH!!!

Didn't you say that Corner Canyon and Orem would be equivalent to Div 5 in CA? Corner Canyon is #1 in UT, so Highland walloping Narbonne like that puts Narbonne at Div 7 in CA?

(Not every team in UT sucks)

Utah has come a long way. They’re actually damn good. Of course, half the people there are originally from California.

With Cathedral Catholic’s recent victory over the #1 team from Arizona, Centennial better come ready.

If Cathedral Catholic beats C10 this week they are going to move to top 5 in the state and higher in some polls. Could be very interesting to see the San Diego school who everyone made fun of Folsom for beating in OT as one of the top teams in California. The salt mines could get opened very quickly around here.

Of course beating C10 is a very tall task. I’ll be keeping a close eye on this one.

It will mostly come down to Cen10 QB play.  Saguaro QB was able to run around the end in the 4th quarter but Cen10 two starting QB’s continue to struggle with read option and have shown same tendency toward ill advised throws as they did last year.

Cen 10 secondary is really coming around so Cathedral is likely going to pound the rock.  They only threw 7 times vs Saguaro.

This should be a low scoring affair.

Gary Bryant is due for a breakout offensive performance and needs to be the X factor in that game for Cen10 to win.
