What is their running game like? Yardage, ypc, ypg, etc.

Believe they had their top 3 RBs all average 10+ ypc in 2014

in 2010 state championship game with QB that started for Wisconsin this year they threw 3 passes in 40-point win

Something I noticed about two NO teams,John Curtis and Rummel....Both run all over theiir  in state competition, yet one scored no TD's against a 9-3  Bosco  team and the other beat a bad 2-7 BC team 27-13.. All the bloviating about NO teams by swamp dog may in fact be just that, BLOVIATING !!!!!

By the end of the season the best teams in NJ didn't have any better results against DB.   Not to mention that Rummel also took another lose from in state.

All Rummel did was travel from NO to NJ and held the best team in the state to 10 points.  Give them some credit.  You figured the game to be easy win and Rummel played right with them

I have always given DLS credit for quality OL play.

However, it's one thing to lose in Florida, Texas, NJ, or even vs BG - losing against UTAH - Come on man - They are far from being the Best OL that I have ever seen especially play against elite teams.

CC couldn't tackle anyone even in a phone booth - That Defense SUCKS plain and simple!

DLS finished #1, Allen #4... that's a tough sell.  #2 Bishop Gorman and 2 loss St. Edward #3...  yowza.   Allen beat 5 teams in the top 100 (top 77 actually).

Oh, back to the subject... lol.   DLS was very cool to see live.  You don't see an OL like that too often, like never.  John Curtis and Camden County similar, but different.  Been fortunate to see some really well coached OOS teams... DBP, Byrnes 09 included.

......for all the Bosco bloviating they really did not impress.

That same Bosco team crushed Moeller, OH 31-14....how pitiful was 5-5 Moeller who had 3 close losses in Ohio by a combined 11 points..

Ohio and NJ both grossly overrated...

Watch that DLS 2010 O-line in the SBG in slo mo.....it was like watching an elite ballet.....poetry in motion....you could set a musical score behind it and play it at the Kennedy center to the tuxedoed crowd, and they would enjoy it.

Before or after the snap?

It has often looked to me like before as often as not. It's always so close that after a drive or two, the refs just go with it, if they ever had a problem with it to begin with.

It's excellently choreographed, and it certainly creates an advantage as they have that millisecond jump on the D-line, so often there is a yard gained just on the "pre"-snap.

xD

Its a thing of beauty really.  Many and I mean many have tried to replicate it but to no avail.

Teams don't stick with it like DLS has. After a few attempts and getting flagged or hearing a fuss from the crowd etc., others stop trying. DLS pushed it and earned the right to get away with it. Opposing fans still fuss about it years later, but DLS doesn't care still today.

DLS now looks at those fans and... well you know...
