I agree, but that works both ways. Racism is a chasm that runs deep and when someone tries to stop being a racist they have real power over themselves. Those that never try to end racism have very little power. I can only say that a little progress to ending racism is better than no progress. We live and we learn. Sometimes it's baby steps, sometimes is the hard way and giant steps. I've hurt the feelings of many people of all colors and I feel bad when I see why it hurts them. I try not to make the same mistakes. I don't mean to make this about me but I use myself as an example. I've been hurt by racism and I know it's a deep cut. Even those that are not racist at all can make a racist mistake. The person that it hurts is the only person that has the power to forgive that mistake.
