Can't be as bad as georgia. All their QBs leave and win championships on other teams. Cam newton deshon watson Lawrence and Fields. Meanwhile uga decides to keep clipboard QBs.

Terrible look for SC. But for MD? LFG!!!!!!They both have a ton of work to put in to earn those jobs but the SEC championship games of the future could very well feature two Mater Dei quarterbacks. That would be incredible.

Jamie Newman is one and done at UGA........enter Daniels.

LSU is set at QB for the next 4-6 years, he wasn't coming here. 🤡

I don't know that Mathis is gonna make it at Georgia...but Beck could very well do so.   Kirby is already on the phone for 2021.  I don't think Daniels will get the OK from the NCAA till 2021.  Not sure he'll be the Dawg to beat.  Doesn't really matter to me.  I just want the best one to help the Dawgs win.

You all think he will be available for this next year or will he have to sit?  I was honestly worried about a UGA team with a running QB threat, but if this last year showed us anything it's that a gunslinger in the right system can be deadly.   Especially with the Oline and defense they're gonna have.

Good point. My understanding is that the NCAA recently did not recommend agreeing to a transfer waiver at this present time. So unless the transfer has actually graduated he would need to sit out a season. They said the NCAA would revisit this in January. But this means for people like Daniels they would need to sit out a season. But Daniels effectively sat out last season due to injury so it will be interesting how his case is handled.

If JT Daniels can't hack it at USC, he won't be able to hack it anywhere in the SEC. He was the Wal-Mart, overrated version of Jake Browning at Mater Dei. Frankly, he was never a talented QB.

Bad look for MD and socal.

Daniels will be playing with more talent than he has ever had. USC was horrible his freshman year. No Oline and lacked a running game.

JT's OC at USC Tee Martin was fired his freshman year. He definitely had growing pains in that system his freshman year but that's what happens when you leave high school a year early. His jump from his freshman to sophomore year on varsity at MD was huge https://www.maxpreps.com/athlete/jt-daniels/BKm7YSRQEeS00gAmVebEWg/football/stats.htm  Since he was graduating HS early, he missed spring ball & didn't get to practice with SC until June. He started his first game on September 1st, not too many Q's are elite after 2-3 months on the job. Early enrollees are getting a few months on campus before even competing in spring practices let alone games. JT will shine behind Georgia's line. Hopefully he gets the waiver and can compete for the job this year, if not an entire year in the system will only benefit him when his time comes.

1. GA has zero chance for competing for ANY title

2. USC has lots of talent. Program sucks

3. JT Daniels is the most overrated QB in the nation

JT Daniels would have been the 4th best QB in the history of Folsom HS.

Imagine Jake Browning with all the SoCal transfers on MD :)

He will dominate with the line he will have at G.  Not to mention a running threat in the backfield.  I would not be shocked if he won a Heisman there.
