Does IMG have the right to "claim" the credit for their NFL Players?

No. They should have to be part of that organization for at least two seasons.

Agreed. IMG should not take credit for Eli Ricks who played for MD his first 3 years. Likewise, MD should not take credit for Dollars and Criddell or any other senior transfer.

Sure, why not?  They very likely provided the polish that put the player over the top.  From what I've read, the intensity of the sport training at IMG is way above what even the power schools can provide.  Sure, the base they had coming to IMG is important.  When players get introduced in the NFL, if they've transferred from one school to another they don't list the schools.  They call out the last school they attended.

Actually they let athletes introduce themselves however they want. Some players list their original high schools. Like blunt that used to play for the patriots and eagles always said Madison county cowboys.

All the hate towards img, just because they got facilities, resources and coaches  , maybe if other schools got their shit together then maybe they wouldn’t be losing thier kids to img

This is to be expected when a team goes 60-3 the last seven years. Additionally, enrollment at the school is at an all-time high. Winning attracts winners.

Oh hell no, not with Pick-6 Ricks.  It's like his 4 months at IMG never existed.  Dude bleeds MD red to this day.

Quick question with the new NIL rules are the players also able to hire agents? If so wouldn't that give IMG some serious advantages being able to sign their players right out of high school and also leverage in saying what college they want them to go to based on endorsements they can get them at said school?

I think this is the future we are headed towards. NIL will be worth so much that 18 year old's will have no clue how to manage the business and the money. The Miami and FSU QB's started a company to help players with this so I would think IMG would take the same approach to the athletes moving on from their program.
